Hi Hala:

Sorry about all the issues you have been having.  It sure does sound like you are having some type of adhesions going on in your belly area.  I hope they can find out quickly what that issue is before it gets out of hand.

Struggling today. Stress has been very very high and it makes me want to eat everything in sight.  So.. I'm trying to just keep things out of my sight.    I truly believe that I have a food addiction and there are days I feel absolutely miserable over not being able to eat eat eat whatever I want - some days it's like I have a desperation to want to eat.

Drinking water and more water, and just popped some popcorn .. I know grazing is bad..but on days like this it helps me to pick up a few kernels at a time over a long period.  Plus the calories are super low.

My monthly visitor is supposed to come this week and that's very likely a lot of the reason I'm feeling low today.

Anyhow, my eats:

B:  Egg White McMuffin (250), Latte (110)

S: 6 mini quiche (ham/veggie)  (143)

L: Progresso Light Soup (160 cal), Light Cheese Stick (60), Pumpkin Muffin (homemade) (91)

S: Popcorn (120)

D: Protein Shake (110) (hoping to stick to just this so my calorie count stays down!).

My sodium is way to high today.. going to try and drink tons of water to keep flushing it out.

Weight at time of Surgery: 278.   Lowest Weight 178.   Current weight 187.0.  Goal: 160.

When Auntie Flo comes, she always brings the stress and the munchies over to my house.  Just find something low cal to munch on and a good book to read.

Good evening, BOTT friends,

Posting rather early tonight as I have been running since 5:30 am, had 2 MD appointments, and babysat my youngest 2 granddaughters until mommy got off work tonight.  That includes getting them up, ready and taking them to school on her working days.  They live right across the street from me, so travel is no problem, and since I'm still out from work, it works out better.  But I've always done this, even when I worked my 7pm to 7am shift 3 days a week.  Grandma has been the sole sitter since their sister was born 17 yrs ago, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Finished my bike workout a short while ago, 31 minutes covering 4 miles.  Today I ate:

B:  2 ozs low sodium deli ham, 10 natural almonds (on the run to first doc's appt)

L:  5 ozs lean beef burger on sandwich thin with mustard, 1 tbsp ketchup, 1 dill pickle spear

S:  protein shake made with almond milk and 1/4 c fresh strawberries

D:  5 ozs leftover pulled chicken barbecue, 3/4 c steamed mixed summer vegs

Goodnight friends :)

You are a good Grandma.  Both my children's grandmothers past away before the oldest was five and the youngest one.  I hate that they missed out on them.

Thanks, Tess.  I know what you mean because my husband passed away before my youngest granddaughter was born (she's 5 now), and when the eldest two talk about him, she's completely bewildered.  The other two were 2 1/2 and 8 when he passed, but there are lots of pics and videos to remember him by.  He really enjoyed those kids, and I'm so sorry he missed out on the last one, and she never knew him.  But my father fulfilled that role very well until his passing 19 months ago.  What beautiful memories I shall always carry...
