Boy, the forum is empty lately. Guess everyone is busy enjoying whatever warmth comes their way with this very late spring. Actually, I'm rather enjoying the weird coolness. I hate bugs, and I'm basically a winter person. Summer is the worst season of the year for me, except for fishing. But I know there are those who haven't had much of a break from Old Man Winter, and I'm sending warm thoughts your way, hoping you get a break soon.
Feeling great today...broke that wicked plateau I'd been on for the last 2 weeks, and all is well. Got my recumbent bike workout in for 33 minutes, covering 3.5 miles, then did my strength workout for 45 minutes. Today I ate:
B: 4 strips turkey bacon, 1 c fresh strawberries
S: protein shake made with 1c 1% milk and lots of ice (was thick like a Wendy's Frosty and soooo good), 10 natural almonds
L: 5 oz lean beef burger on sandwich thin, 1 sl cheddar, mustard, 1 tbsp ketchup, lots of lettuce, tomato
S: 1/2 c tuna salad (made with light mayo)
D: meatball "sub" on sandwich thin w/marinara, peppers, mushrooms and 2 tbsps grated parmesan
Time for late night Chiller movies. Goodnight friends :)
