Back On Track Together
Saturday!!!
Morning everyone! Wonderful day! I woke up at 6 am - no alarm clock, just woke up, made my coffee, set up my kindle, (I have the one that will read to me) with the ear buds and got the book ready to go, and hit the treadmill! 2 mph for 30 minutes. Time flies while listening to the book AND carrying 2 lbs hand weights! After that, I hit the hottub for 30 minutes, put the Kindle in a zip lock baggy and continued listening to my book while relaxing and soaking the tired old bones. Next..time to hop on the scales AND I lost another pound!!! Yeah me! I am losing 1 pound per week so I feel good about it. Doing it the correct way...1300 nutritional balanced calories per day, lots of water and walking!! Won't hit my goal any time soon but I am forming great habits because I the rule is once you do something for 30 consecutive days, it has become a habit! Just think, this time next year, I WILL weigh less than I have since 1981!!!! That's worth a year ;)
Breakfast today, Protein smoothie
Lunch: Salad with Tuna
Dinner: Broiled burger patties 3 oz 1/2 Green beans and a 1 cup salad with 1 tbs fat free Ranch
Snacks: apple, celery sticks, yogurt - the amount of these all depends on what my actual calorie content is from above. Celery sticks are a definite because I gotta have a crunch..the rest I'll substitute a big ole glass of water. ;)

Good evening, BOTT friends,
Another busy day. Been on the move since 6am. It's after 10pm now, and I just returned from the supermarket. Still have to eat my dinner, and do my bike workout. Dinner is always late night, since that has been my eating routine for a thousand years (I worked nights also), and even though I'm out from work right now, my routine remains the same...up most of the night, sleep very little days.
Today I ate:
B: egg salad made with half light and half real mayo, sandwich thin
S: protein shake made with 1c 1% milk
L: small grilled chicken thigh (skinless), 1/2 apple
S: 1 c fresh strawberries topped with 6 ozs Light & Fit yogurt
D: will be 5 oz lean beef burger with 1 slice ultra thin cheese, mustard, 1 tbsp ketchup, 1/2 dill pickle, sandwich thin
