Good evening, BOTT friends,

I miss Tess too, but I know she's trying to recover and I guess we'll just have to lean on each other for awhile.  I guess everyone misses her, because posting is way down.  But then, lots of people are enjoying the longer daylight hours and warmer weather, so I guess we won't know for sure until Tess returns.

My day was busy as it always is lately, but I got on my bike this evening and rode away, not stopping to check the mileage nor minutes.  I got in a strength workout for my arms also, using bands instead of the weights because it's easier on my back.  I did 70 minutes on the recumbent bike, covering 7.1 miles at a fairly slow pace.  Today I ate:

B:  1 chicken sausage, 3 turkey bacon strips, 1 egg and 1 egg white, sandwich thin with 1 1/2 tsps butter  (gotta back off the turkey bacon, and I'm working on it)

S:  protein shake made with 1/2 c 1% milk, 1 c fresh strawberries

L:  1/2 Quest protein bar, 2 strips turkey bacon (there it is again), 3 ozs leftover grilled sirloin

D:  1 c spaghetti sauce w/lean beef, 1/2 c Brussels sprouts

Tomorrow I will leave the turkey bacon and chicken sausage alone for awhile as I am trying to reduce the use of processed meats in my eating plan (but I love bacon, and if I'm eating it, then turkey bacon is a better choice).  I also have to do much better with my vegs...I really miss having them, and love to incorporate them into my plan as snacks.

Have a good night my friends :)
