Sunday, a day of reflection

I had great day yesterday, Stuck to my 1300 calories, walked my 30 minutes and grocery shopped...jeez I still hate to grocery shop!!  All in all, I'm in great shape in my LIVE TO LIVE goals.  No smoking, no carbornated drinks, limit coffee to 20 oz lots of water, and eating nutritional foods.  Not really worried about the weight, just how I'm feeling and I'm feeling GREAT!

I'm going to experiment this week since summer daylight hours are upon us and I am going to want to be outside later in the evening doing exciting things like the daily trip down the river in the boat, playing games with the grand kids etc etc etc.  Since I know I NEED a minimum of 6 hrs of sleep each night or I can't function, I can't get up to walk at 4:30 if I'm still outside at 10 pm and do not have the ability to fall asleep within 30 seconds of my head hitting the pillow.  Beginning today, I am walking at the time I first get home in the evening, which will be before dinner.  I will still sit in the hot tub afterwards so that means dinner will be between 6:30 and 7:00 pm. As long as I'm asleep by 11 I'll be good!

What a change for me...haven't even given food a thought today - Isn't that amazing??!??! I just know it will be a total of 1300 calories and nutritional (heavy on the protein)  Ya'll have a great day!!

Debra I love your energy - that is awesome!  It is amazing how much better we feel when we do what the ideal lifestyle is for us!!  Since yesterday I have resisted fresh bagels from Panera, Apple Pie, Danish, numerous bags of chips and Rigatoni pasta!  I am eating protein dense foods and have been planning my meals.  I am going to buy some Matrix Cookies and Cream tomorrow for 2 snacks a day.  I am not getting enough protein in (major hair loss again).  My week of food looks like this:

break - hard boiled eggs/cottage cheese

snack - shake

lunch - either turkey/cheese rollup OR tuna casserole  leftovers

snack - shake

dinner - tuna casserole OR boston butt and cole slaw (homemade)

I have to run to the grocery to get the eggs and cole slaw but otherwise good to go:)

have a great week!!!

Good evening, BOTT friends,

Great Sunday for me today...lots of reading done, and just a quiet, peaceful day altogether.  Got my bike workout in this evening, pace was slow today, but I just didn't care.  As long as I got something done, and I got in 32 mins covering 3.5 miles.  I also got my strength training done for my arms.  Missed doing it Thursday, but now I'm back to Sun, Tues and Thurs weight workouts.  Today I ate:

B:  5 oz lean beef burger with 1 slice ultra thin cheddar on sandwich thin, mustard, 1 tbsp ketchup, dill spear

S:  protein bar, 1/2 oz natural almonds

L:  6 ozs KFC grilled chicken thigh meat, apple slices

S:  protein shake made with 1 c SF vanilla International coffee, 1 tbsp half&half

D:  1.5 c homemade spaghetti sauce w/lean beef, 2 tbsps grated parmesan (no pasta)

High protein day, but also higher in fat than my usual, but that's ok on occasion.  Still losing lbs and inches.  Bad thing is no real vegs to speak of, but I will alleviate that this week.

Good night to all :)
