Back On Track Together
TGIF!!!
Whew! I can tell I am now 60 and proud of it BUT....It has taken me a week to recover from traveling to and from California with a quick trip to Chicago thrown in too! I could have just continued on and stayed in the slump except that I LIVE TO LIVE!! Don't want to have a wasted the last year and all the life style I changed! This is the first morning that I woke up energized and ready to go in the same manner in which I did before going to California!! It also took a week of careful eating after a week of indulgence! I am BACK to my pre-trip weight :) Now, I did get up and walk this morning...enjoyed the hot tub with my hubby and now I'm writing here!1 Great day.
This morning I'll have a protein smoothie, salad with tuna and sesame seed dressing, an apple for snack and celery to munch on. Dinner will be boneless skinless chicken breast baked in fire roasted garlic tomatoes and late nite snack, cheese and crackers!! Will keep the eats to 1300 calories!
Hope you all have a great day and remember to LIVE TO LIVE!!!
It sure takes longer to recover from anything when we get ancient. I've got some weird stuff coming up next week, but I feel energized today--and optimistic. Maybe, just maybe, it'll be a wonderful day. Not only a bummer-free day, but actually good.
The plan for today is:
Coffee. Lots of coffee.
Chocolate protein drink. (23 g pro)
Half a turkey san. minus most of the bread. (10 g pro?)
Zucchini and 3 oz chicken (21 g pro)
Chicken and mushrooms and more zucchini (30 g pro)
Protein cocoa w/ almond milk for satisfaction (12 g pro)
and a new dessert--Yasso frozen yogurt bar, 80 calories, 6 g protein, cocoanut flavor. Thank you, Nature, for the cocoa bean and cocoanut!
Good morning, BOTT friends,
