Weekly Mini-Goal Challenge for short term goals

Focusing on one week at a time, when the big picture seems too overwhelming. Small changes can bring on big results!!

Choose one or more things you want to work on for just this week. Don't set it too high or unreachable!!

Please, make sure your week works for you. Sun to Sat or Mon to Sun, whatever is YOUR week!

You can reach your main goal if you break it into small actionable steps. It could be as easy as 1-2-3!

1) Choose something you know you can do easily.
2) Add more difficult tasks to your plan.
3) These small steps will get you started, motivated & help build routine for long term success!!

Please feel free to post your goals for this week.  This is perfect for those of us needing to re-focus and/or get back on track.

Hmmm, that's a tough one.

1) Continue to exercise a minimum of 45 minutes every day but do it in the morning instead of the afternoon or evening so I have the calorie burn all day. Plus I'll have more time with DH and young 'uns. x 3
2) Go to bed by 10:00 so I sleep 7.5 hours and can get up at 5:30 to exercise. x 3
3) Eat fish, I'll try tilapia. x 1

Great Idea!! It looks like a hard week ahead of me (Moma's heart cath tomorrow / Court for child custody on Wednesday). I'm setting 3 simple goals that could make a significant difference in my overall health.

1.  Plan meals and snacks to avoid stress eating more

2.  Morning meds and vitamins before I'm allowed coffee in the morning. PM dosage taken with dinner.

3.  My water bottle will go everywhere I go.

My 4 mini goals for this week:
1. wake up and get up every day
2. get to work, don't hurt coworkers
3. drink lost of water.. and green tea.
4. get at least 100 gr proteins per day.

I am on new medications, so simple steps to discover what works and what does not.   Have a great week.

LOL so much at goals 1 and 2!       Hoo boy, that takes me back. Thank God I'm retired. Being broke is nothing compared to working at a job.

Goals don't seem so mini when they're for a whole week, but mine are:

1. Stick to the freakin' food plan five days out of the seven.

2. Count protein. If I keep skimping on it, I'm going to melt into a puddle of olive oil and carbs and even the cat won't eat me.

3. Take better care of my knees, for they shall support me when I try to exercise.

Take care of my knees means

     3a   Ice them after exercise,

3b.   Use the expensive arnica ointment twice a day (which actually works!) even when I'm pain-free, and

     3c.  Do leg exercises.

Ok this is kinda difficult for me but I'm going to try:

1.  Get over 100 grams of protien every day

2.  Drink at least 64 oz of plain water (Crystal Light doesn't count) at least 5 days.

3.  Walk for exercise at least 3 days.

Here we go....Ho HO HO
