Good evening, BOTT friends,
Rainy night for us at this time, and that is great! I love me some rainy days, and especially rainy nights. Throw in a little thunder and lightning, and I'm all set. Got my workout in this evening on my recumbent bike for 40 minutes, covering 4.3 miles. My stamina is still not up to par, but I'm getting there. At 40 minutes in the past, I would've easily covered twice the miles.
I'm just grateful that I am able to do something other than sit/lie around, and don't have to wear my back brace all the time. Still, there's the ever looming possibility that I may have to have surgery. We shall see about that, but meanwhile, I will continue to build up my strength and stamina.
I had a weird craving tonight for oatmeal...been thinking about it all day. So since I was intending to have lean beef meatballs, but didn't have any on hand, I decided on oatmeal with a turkey bacon chaser. Today I ate:
B: 1 egg, 3 strips turkey bacon on sandwich thin with 1 oz pepper jack cheese
S: protein shake made with half 1% milk and half water
L: 1 c tuna salad, 1/4 c egg salad, both made with light mayo, 1 oz plain pork rinds
D: 2 pkts instant plain oatmeal with 2 tbsps toasted pecans, cinnamon, splenda and 1/4 c 1% milk, 3 strips turkey bacon
That's it for me. Settling down to watch some late night TV, and I hope everyone has a pleasant night.
