Good Morning Botts:
Thank you so much for all the well wishes yesterday on my Anniversary. We went to my sister's house for Easter dinner and she and my daughter had planned a surprise party for my husband and myself. It was wonderful. Lovely gifts of old pictures in beautiful frames of bygone days, Gourmet cupcakes and flowers too. We even had a CD movie made of our life together over the past 30 years. It was a wonderful day.
I am back on track today and my eats are:
Breakfast: Coffee & Miralax
Snack: Quest Cookie Dough Bar
Lunch: Quest Brownie Bar
Snack: Diced Peaches
Dinner: Protein Shake
Snack: Vitatop
I hope each of you have a wonderful first day of April and that you remember those vits and drink plenty of fluids. And, try not to fool to many people, it might bite you on the rear.

It is a nice bright day today. Sunny. I worked very hard during the weekend - 2 days at least and tried to recover Sunday. Still working on that.
I had a good Easter, and I ate good things but again - drank too much. When I eat dense protein foods - I need alcohol to wa**** out or I end up in severe pain. Not a good trade off, but some days I just want to eat some meat..and more than a bite or 2. I am pretty sure it is adhesions and my guts not working properly. For now I have to deal with that. Beside that - life is not bad. work is busy, I need to work on my taxes (grrr...) and plan to travel next week for business.
Scale? I am not sure. Last week it show a weight gain ... and that did not make much sense. My clothes fit OK, and I do plan to get rid of a few lbs, but that can wait.

Hi Everyone. I'm going to start posting my eats. Probably not every day but most days anyway. Here is todays eats along with some of my other info...
EATS
Early Morning: 2 cups coffee w/SF hazelnut creamer
B: Unjury Protein Shake
S: Banana
L: 1 Cup Chicken Marinara, PB sandwich (half 100% Whole Wheat sandwich thin, 1 TBS. peanut butter)
S: Unjury Protein Shake
D: Pepperoni Pizza, 1 slice
S: 3 fun size twix
TOTALS: 1419 Calories, 102g Protein
Every day I take 2 children’s chewable vitamins, 1 Super B complex, 2 Biotin, 1 folic acid, 1 iron, and drink 8 cups of water.
EXERCISE
Every day I walk at least 20 minutes and do 15 minutes of core strengthening exercises and stretches. These are my “intentional exercises” I do in addition to house work, grocery shopping, etc. (if your body is moving then it counts as exercise)

I'm BBBBBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCKKKKKKKKK. I know yall have missed me. It's been 3 or 4 whole days since I posted. All because I've been busy, busy, busy. I love Easter and being able to have all of the family together.
Spent a lot of time with my Moma this weekend. Her appt with the vascular surgeon has been moved back to the 9th of April. I think she's taking it all in stride until we find out just how severe her blockage actually is. I did have to yell at her yesterday for not asking for help. The woman decided to go take a cooler and box of canned goods out of her trunk. The cooler was full of ice and groceries. How she thought that wasn't exertion I'm not sure.
Getting those daily vitamins and decaf iced tea in. Hoping to take a long walk after dinner tonight.

Lunch: 1 slice handtossed Hawaiian pizza

Dinner: Roast Turkey, pickled beets & lima beans
I've been good all weekend. Today I can't get a handle on the carbs. It's Monday. It's the first day of the Month. It's a brandnew computer system at work.....with lots and lots of kinks to work out.

Hi I am new here. I am almost 6 years out and sit want to lose about another 30lbs. I am really struggling! Please post any suggestions!

L: 1c homemade Chick and brown rice soup, 1/2 fruit, 1 fun size hershey bar
D: 3oz of ham and 3/4 cup smashed califlower
S: 1 cup SF hot choclate with skim milk
No workout today. I usually run/workout 3 days a week.

Glad to have you on board. Your menu looks good and running 3 days a week is awesome! What worked for me is upping my proteins, lowering my carbs and drinking plenty of fluids but not with any of my meals. I journal daily so I know where I am at and when I was dropping the regain, I would walk 60 minutes a day, everyday. I kept my calories between 800-1200 a day and I am a firm believer in taking your vitamins daily. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
