Good Morning Botters:
This is Friday for me at work. Yay!!! I am fasting this morning until I go have my blood drawn at 10:00 AM. Don't you always get thirsty when you know you can't have anything to drink.....My eats for today are:
Breakfast: Nothing.......
Snack: Nothing.......
Lunch: Quest Brownie Bar
Snack: Quest Apple Bar
Dinner: Protein Shake
Snack: Protein Pudding
Have a great Thursday, remember those vits and fluids and for those of you that won't be bac****il Monday, have a wonderful Easter Weekend. "Remember, Jesus is the Reason for the Season".
It's my FRIDAY too. Gotta love a long weekend. I woke up early again this morning and seemed to have gotten quite a lot accomplished before I ever left home. Now when I get home tonight I can enjoy some "me" time. We get david's kids tomorrow afternoon for the weekend and most (if not all) of next week. Serena loves crafts so I've got everything to do the dyed eggs and some silk/fake flower arrangements and decorations for the house. She is my little Martha Stewart.
I can tell that my pouch is still there and working like it should. Last night I made "hamburger steaks" for dinner and not half way through a very dense patty I felt the fullness. It was time to stop. I had a few grilled peppers, onions and mushrooms to help the dense protein go down a little easier. My tool hasn't failed me. My failing the tool is a whole different story...thus the regain.
Commute: Coffee
Breakfast: Protein Bar
snack: peanut butter wafers
Lunch: Leftover Hamburger steak
snack: Greek Yogurt w/ almonds
Dinner: Fajitas & homemade Guacamole
I made the "guacamole" last night because I was honestly craving it. 1 avacodo 1 lime 1 -6oz container of plain greek yogurt and cilantro. Took the stick blender to it and creamed it to the consistency of mayo. OMG. Good stuff. Ate it with bell bepper strips.
Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

Oh no you didn't say you don't like shrimp, Tess :) I ate shrimp all my life until one night i***** when I was almost hospitalized with an allergic reaction! Stayed in the ER for 9 hrs getting IV steroids and Benadryl. I absolutely ADORED my shrimp, and I was advised to never eat them again. But I tried one more time like a dummy, and I was at work...broke out in full body hives with shortness of breath that time. Never again!
Funny, because I can eat any other seafood and nothing happens. If it ever happens with crab, I will just have to take Benadryl and hope for the best, (jk)
I...miss...my...shrimp
I have try to give the shrimp a go but I can not stomach them. I chew them until they swell so much in my mouth that I have to spit them out. I did try the alaskan crab legs and they were okay. Don't like lobster either. My seafood experience is not much. I will try anything once but if I don't like it, that is it. I did give shrimp two tries because of the great protein, but no, can't do it.
Im back! It's my Friday as well.
Day two of tracking eats again. I have to make this work. I know I can do it, I just have to stick to it.

Carly:
You can do this even with Easter Sunday Dinner coming. I am having ham, chicken salad, green beans and deviled eggs and a "tiny" sliver of coconut pie. Unless it is pouring down rain, I plan to walk 4 miles on Sunday. At the end of the day, you will have two days under your belt and getting ready for day 3. Don't let up.
I did 1 hr Zumba, 15 min run/walk (C25K) and took a two mile walk with the family.
I ate well. I had 3 meals, protein first, and two protein shakes.
