Good morning Tess,

Tell me, do you microwave all of your Quest bars, and if you do then for how long?  I didn't care much for the apple bar (I only ordered 1) and didn't really like the peanut butter supreme until I decided to microwave it like you suggested for the brownie bar and OMG!! it was great.  In hindsight, I probably should've tried warming the apple bar too.

Also, for you coffee drinkers out there...I drink it occasionally, but it has to be very light and I didn't want to use a lot of coffee creamer.  Does it work with almond milk?  I once tried making instant pudding with the only milk I had on hand...almond milk.  It was a soupy disaster!

Thanks!

I do microwave all my bars anywhere between 14-19 seconds.  The time is according to the microwave that I am using.  At work, it is 19 seconds, at home 17 seconds, and at my daughter's 13 seconds (she has a newer microwave).  I love the SF/CF International coffees, French Vanilla with S.F. Praline Pecan syrup.  I allow myself one cup each morning with my miralax and it does the job for me.  Hala has more experience with the almond milk than me.  So hopefully, she will chime in on this.

Thanks!  I'll try it with all of them.  Really changed my perception of the p.b. supreme for the better.

I hit the ground running this morning and it feels good. The sun is shining and it's going to be a GREAT day. My glass is not half-full it's overflowing. I will do what's necessary to take care of myself or else I'll be no good to anyone. I've taken my daily meds and morning vitamins. I've got a fresh gallon of decaf iced tea in the fridge at work. I feel good about me and my plan.

Wake Up:  Protein Bar

Commute:   Coffee

Breakfast:   Oatmeal

Lunch:     1 slice of Supreme Pizza on a thin whole wheat crust (last nights dinner)

Snack:      Greek Yogurt & handful of almonds

Dinner:   Hamburger steak (on the Foreman) with grilled onions, peppers and mushrooms

Shelia-----I'm  with you about the almond milk. I really didn't like it. I can do the FF lactose free stuff and I've even come to like it.

Iris,

I like the almond milk, especially for mixing my protein shakes, and it's good for cereal but I only use it in that area for oatmeal b/c regular cereal causes RH with me.

I was wondering if you can use it as coffee creamer.  I've never tried it, and when I made the pudding, it didn't work so I was thinking maybe you can't use it in some areas of cooking or baking in place of regular milk.

I'm gonna test it tonight....no coffee in the house right now.

I also got all my water in today, YAY!!!  Working on a zero cal Lifewater now while I watch late night tv.  Hope you all have sweet dreamzzzz!

Thanks Tess!  I know you must be excited.  I've seen lots of before/after pics of the surgery you're having.  They do an amazing job.  Wish I could afford to have at least one thing done.  Maybe someday (after I hit lotto) :)  Have a great day!
