Good Morning Botts!!! I'm enjoying a very lazy Sunday morning. I did manage to cook breakfast but that's about it. I've babysat my Granddog Harley all weekend. Yes I said Granddog. She has worn me out. Of course my terrier Daphne is probably more to blame than Harley. My dog has got to have the worse case of ADHD in dogs that's ever existed. Poor Harley tries to go to sleep and Daphne attacks and goes into full blown playtime mode. Doesn't seem to matter if it's 3 in the afternoon or 3 in the morning.
Getting lots of decaf iced tea in and need to go in search of my pill container for the daily vitamins and then get it refilled for the week to come.
Morning: Coffee, coffee & more coffee
Breakfast: Baked egg, sausage and cheese muffin. ******
Lunch: Turkey sandwich on whole wheat & 1/2 apple
snack: 1/2 apple with peanut butter
dinner: Ham, mixed greens, stuffed sweet potatoes & pie##
***** I'd forgotten this simple recipe. A dozen eggs, 1/4 cup of milk, 1/2 cup cheese and sausage crumbles. Beat the eggs, milk and cheese. Add the crumbles pour into well greased (pam spray) muffin tins (I used 6 jumbo) and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Now I've got breakfast for the week. They freeze and microwave great for a quick protein rich breakfast.
## My Moma is cooking my birthday dinner today. (Bday is tomorrow) and I've always been a Pie person never Birthday cake. 2 bites of pie is my limit....she makes it using real milk and welllllllll....being lactose intolerant is sort of a blessing in disguise or else I'd be tempted to eat the whole thing. After our conversation on here a few weeks ago about greens and pot liquor it made it simple on what to ask for on the menu...an old fashioned boiled dinner with ham and greens.

Good morning BOTT,
It’s been a while. The past few weeks I had withdrawn from my second session class to de-stress. I had been so worked up over the job offer, etc. I’ve been able to put it behind and just do my job still given a 100% but I am still looking for a new job and management is very aware that the three of us are not happy and were looking. If I stay with the organization I can apply for a new position until I am there for 9 month to a year.
Currently, I am getting back on track, I have put away the designer hand bags and I dawn a backpack now. Every evening I get off the subway 5 stops early and walk the 2 miles to my apartment. Right now it takes me 50 minutes so I am clearing a mile in 25 minutes (my goal is to get back to 18 minute miles which I was doing prior to getting sick two years ago).
I will try to post during the day going forward, I need to hold myself accountable for everything I eat!
My eats today:
Pre-Breakfast: Coffee with Med’s
Breakfast: 4 Cookies from the Indian Market and Cold Coffee with Miralax
Snack: Apple
Lunch: Protein Smoothie using V8 Diet Splash
Snack: None
Dinner: Not sure….Fresh Veggie Salad of Cucumber and Carrots and some form of Protein
Snack: If I need: ½ cup of HiLo Cereal, Vanilla Almond and ¼ cup of Almond Milk
Water: 3 daily
Exercise: Walked to the grocery store and back (60 minutes; 8:30 am)
Walked around Fort Tryon Park after dropping off my shopping (30 minutes, only this morning 10:05) I had to cut it shore I had to go to the bathroom! Since, I have no plans today I will head out one more time this afternoon around 3pm and do an hour)

I slept in this morning and have just been extremely lazy today. Cold and rainy outside so kinda of glumy. My eats for today are all on the detox mode again. Been snacking on to many peanuts this week.

Dinner: Protein Shake
Snack: Protein Quest Bar

Busy day for me too. Just posting my meals here and it's now 2 am. Gotta wake up at 5:30, so here goes. Today I ate:
B: 2 eggs and 1 egg white scrambled, sandwich thin, 2 tsps butter
S: 14 natural almonds
L: protein bar
D: 4 ozs barbecue brisket, 1 c collard greens
I was so busy that I took too much time between meals. Also didn't complete my water intake today, but I'm working on that now.
