Happy Hump Day and First Day of Spring:
It is a chilly first day of spring but hope for warm weather soon. I am going to the doctor this morning to pay for my final payment on my butt lift and outer thigh lift and get fitted for my compression garment. This should be fun...My eats today are:
Breakfast: Coffee & Miralax
Snack: Quest Brownie Bar
Lunch: Cheeseburger small
Snack: Quest Brownie Bar
Dinner: Meatloaf & Green Beans
Snack: NSA ice cream bar
Have a great day, remember your vits and drink, drink, drink!!!!
The calendar may say it's the first day of spring, but northern Michigan didn't receive the season change memo or Mother Nature has a wicked sense of humor. We continue under a Winter Storm Warning until 8:00 tonight. Lots of snow, blowing, drifting, and icy roads. I have a heater blowing on my feet while I sit at my desk. I'd laugh if I weren't crying. Please send some sunshine and warm breezes our way, southern BOTTS!
I always plan for six mini meals but usually only eat five of them. My plan for the day is:
B Protein coffee
S Greek yogurt, hard boiled egg
L Ham, cucumber salad, ½ grapefruit
S Protein shake with almond milk
D Some type of protein and non-starchy vegetable
S Quest bar (trying banana muffin tonight, chocolate chip cookie dough was delicious)
I'm very diligent about taking my vitamins and drinking a minimum of 12 cups of non-caloric, caffeine-free beverages daily.

I've got sunshine.....and it's not just an old song either. The sun is out and I'm loving it. Wish I could send it north to some of yall but hang in there it's coming. So far I'm having a great day. I had to have a pacemaker check this morning...my batery is good for at least 4 more years and my readouts were good enough that I don't have to be rechecked until next March as long as I continue with the bedside monitor. I can do that. I really believe if I hadn't of had the gastric bypass and knew what it felt to feel good that I never would have caught the heart problem in time. I was diagnosed with sick sinus syndrome in July of 2010. I was on the surgery schedule for September to have a pace maker implanted but things went down hill really quick and had to have an emergency implant in August. YIKES!!! I can mark that event as the day I started regaining my weight. I was scared because I almost died. Food my old comforter was there for me to turn to.
So now that I'm healthy, unwealthy and wise....I plan to eat the following today.
Breakfast: 1 slice wheat toast and country ham
Lunch: small Wendy's chili
snack: Protein shake
Dinner: Meatloaf and asparagus
lns: 2 honey grahams with peanut butter (depending on my sugar)
Getting those vitamins and decaf iced tea in throughout the day.

Hello BOTT friends,
Posting early tonight, at least for me. It's only 9:30 pm, and it will be another 6hrs or so before I drift off to sleep. Hope everyone had a pleasant day.
Today I ate:
B: protein bar, 15 natural almonds
S: apple slices, Laughing Cow cheese wedge
L: sandwich thin with 4 ozs low sodium smoked turkey, mustard, lots of lettuce and tomato
S: protein shake with almond milk
D: 6 ozs grilled sirloin with baby portobello mushrooms and onions, 1/2 c green beans
I'll be spending the rest of the night trying to get my water in for the day. Still want to incorporate exercise, but not cleared by my MD yet.
Goodnight to all, and sweet dreamzzzz!
