Good Morning Botters:

It is a chilly but sunny day here in the good ole south!  Every morning is a different clothes experience.  Do I wear Sweaters or a short sleeve Tee?  Today is sweater weather.  My eats for today are:

Breakfast;  Coffee & Miralax

Snack:  Quest Protein Bar

Lunch:  1/2 Turkey Sandwich

Snack:  Protein Shake

Dinner:  Grilled Chicken

Snack:  Quest Protein Bar

I did not do to bad yesterday for dinner, I had steak and smashed potatoes which my husband and I split the dinner.  Got my son fitted for his tux, (black tux with dark blue vest and tie, his date's dress is midnight blue).  It is hard to believe that he will be a senior next year.  I just do not know where are the time has gone.

I hope each of you have a wonderful day and remember always to keep taking your vitamins and drinking plenty of fluids.  Have a good one!

You know you have a "lame" life when you get excited about a new pill container to house all your daily vitamins...complete with am/pm sections. lol.  I love the convenience of setting it up for the week and then I'm done (as long as I remember to take them).  This getting old really isn't for sissies.

It's chilly, drizzly and foggy here again today. I have to brag on my boyfriend for just a moment though....he knows how much I need my sunshine...he woke me up speaking with a heavy british accent (Southern at that). Since then he's called a few times just to say stupid stuff. I do love that man!!

WakeUp:  Protein Bar

Commute:  Coffee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Breakfast:  Scrambled egg with cheese on wrap

Lunch:       Ham with PepperJack cheese on 12 grain bread w/ apple slices

snack:       Yogurt with almonds

Dinner:      Grilled Chicken Salad

snack:      1/2 Banana & Peanut butter

I disagreed with that lame remark, I still get excited when I feel out my weekly pill containers.  They are awesome!!!  Got to love a guy with a southern british accent or there about.  Have a great day!

Hello Tess and fellow BOTTers! It's been a while since I've been able to post. Working full time and raising a 2 & 4 year old, even with a wonderful, supportive, helpful husband leaves little extra time. I've been lurking when I can and really focusing on working in exercise - finally! - and entering food, exercise, and water on MFP. Food plan for today:
B protein coffee
L spinach, roast beef, Parmesan cheese, Caesar dressing
S protein shake with almond milk
D turkey, sautéed yellow squash & zucchini
S Quest bar (trying cookie dough), nuts if needed
Thanks everyone for being so honest and inspiring!

Jennifer:  It is so good to have you back.  We all need a bit of a break some times from posting.  At least you have been getting plenty of exercise running after the 2 and 4 year olds.

Good evening BOTT friends,

Another day down, and I have remained faithful to my eating plan.  I am trying my best to abstain from bad carbs, sugar, etc.  I was deeply challenged today at the impromptu after-school birthday party for my now 5 yr old granddaughter.  There was birthday cake, which has forever been one of my triggers.  I cut the cake, got frosting on my fingers too, but I did not lick it off, nor did I taste even one crumb.  That has NEVER happened to me, and all I can say is that I owe it all to finding this group and trying to be accountable.

I take it all a day at a time, and I am celebrating small victories, but not with food.  I think detoxing with the 5 day pouch test, which I had never heard of, was the key to taming the carb monster, but this group has been FANTASTIC in supporting everyone, whether they are losing or not.

I love reading all the posts, the different struggles (many which mirror my own), and I know that should I fall, I will be able to get up and start  over again.

Today I ate:

B:  omelet with 1/2 c eggbeaters and 1 egg white, 1/4 c turkey sausage crumbles, peppers, onions,1 tbsp grated parmesan, and 2 tbsp salsa

S:  apple slices, 4 ozs Greek yogurt

L:  6 ozs lean beef/turkey meatballs in marinara sauce, 2 tbsp grated parmesan

D:  low sodium smoked turkey (3.5 ozs) on sandwich thin with 1 tsp mayo, lots of lettuce, tomato and 1 jalapeno stuffed olive

Tomorrow brings another day, and I pray to stay on track.  Sweet dreamzzzz to all!
