Good Morning Botts:
Sorry I missed Sunday posting but it was a really busy day at my house. It is a rainy Monday here in Mississippi and the skies are very black as I am typing this. My eats for today is mosting proteins:
Breakfast: Coffee & Miralax
Snack: Protein Shake
Lunch: Protein Bar

Dinner: Not sure yet, we are going to the mall to get my son fitted for his tux. (Prom in two weeks)

Have a great Monday. Remember to take your vitamins and drink lots of fluids today.
Good rainy morning!!! Saturday was beautiful here. Yesterday was windy and cold so I stayed indoors, with a book and the dog in my lap---Heavenly. I'm ready for whatever this week brings. I did have chance to read through a ton of stuff about the reactive hypoglycemia. I'm getting myself fairly organized and working on my meal and snack plans for the coming week. David loves knowing what he's having for dinner all week.
Commute: Coffee
Breakfast: Oatmeal
snack: yogurt
Lunch: Ham & Vegetable Soup w/ whole wheat crackers
snack: Banana
Dinner: Chicken BBQ & Baked beans
lns: protein bar

Welcome back to your son, Tess. Always good to have them within arms reach. Got my son back from a year in Bahrain last Oct, only to see him off to Japan in Nov for two years. But we talk frequently, and he's loving it even though his wife remained here in the states.
I know there was no C&C yesterday, so I'm posting yesterday's meals now, then will add today's meals in a later post:
Sunday Mar 17, I ate:
B: 1 egg and 1/2 c eggbeaters, 2 tbsp bacon bits and 1 sandwich thin with 2 tsps butter
S: Light & Fit yogurt, 10 almonds
L: protein bar, 14 almonds
D: 1 c brussels sprouts, 1 cup spaghetti sauce with lean meat
S: 1 oz peanuts
Well, I don't know if he'd really jump at the chance otherwise, but when Uncle Sam says "jump", his mission is to say, "how high" :) He's in the U.S.Navy. But he chose that duty station out of 3 offers, so I guess it was where he wanted to be. Nevertheless, he's loving it, and I am so happy for him!
WOW, don't know what just happened, but I replied to your message Tess, and when I submitted it, there was a whole page of blank space under my 1 line post. It was freaking me out, so I just deleted it.
Anyways, I wanted to thank you for wishing my son well, and to let you know I got my second order of protein bars today. Loved the peanut butter supreme too.
I am running in and out. Can't remember when I last posted. I am in Louisiana. My mom was taken to the E R on the 12th and after several hours sent back to the nursing home. Yesterday she was taken back to the ER and after several hours admitted. Last night she was admitted to the ICU. She is better this morning but I have not seen her doctor and the nurses can only tell me so much. I don't know how long I will be here and I haven't been near a scale. I'm afraid to even think about it.
