We have a new Pope... so your son may have story to tell. Lucky boy.  

Onion rings - I love them but eat that seldom because they give me really bad gas... 

I am late to my weekly updates.  I am still low carbing, except when I don't lol... I ate 1/2 box of polish candies one day ... that was so good... and considering that I ate one candy every 10 -1 5 min... I got only very mild dumping... (and that was goo d- considering I had problem with BM) and I was "happy" with very mild cramps for a couple of hours.  It felt like my body needed some real sugar... and overall - I knew what to do to avoid RH.

In a way - I know how to cheat even my "very sensitive" system...lol...   But since I had stomach virus the day before and could not eat very much... the extra calories and sugar was lost in the way.    Weight wise- I am still in me "safe" weight zone, and it seams that my body gets to the lower point - then stays there... and no matter what I do - it just does not want to go lower - just the opposite I start getting hungry, dizzy, and like today - I woke up at 4 am - starving... so I had to get up and eat some food.  But overall I am comfortable in my size.. except boobs... 

How is it? when I gain weight - my boobs size gets bigger, but when I lose the weight - my butt is getting flatter?  I know many woman pay for large size - but I would be happy with C. That's what I had after my Breast lift... Large C. Now - I am spilling out of D's.  Some are still OK, but I do need to start looking for DD or lose weight....  

But enough *****ing. 

On a very good note - I now got a new endocrinologist - and she seams amazing good.  She knows about RNY stuff and from a very short conversation with her -I know she reads papers on the new problems in people with RNY and severe RH. So maybe I can find out what is going on, and if that "RH " is going to be like now - or if it  would get worse... I can deal with it right now, worse - may be very difficult.

Eats: (typical)

coffee + unsweet coconut milk
protein shake with coconut milk
meat with veggies
yogurt with proteins
another shake, or some nuts or nut butter with protein pancakes or protein muffins
dinner - some meat and veggies or some soup, maybe cheese.. 

LNS: nuts or cheese...

Hi Hala:

 

My son got to Rome in time to see the white smoke from a distance.  They do not go out onto the square until tomorrow or I should said in a few hours.  It is already 3 AM there now.  I think he will have a great story to tell when he gets back home.  I have the opposite problem, when I am up on my weight, I gain in my rear when I am down, I lose in my boobs.  Maybe after my butt lift it will all go up in my boobs. :)

Don't worry about those onion rings.  When the pope blessed the world this afternoon he offered a plenary indulgence which forgives sins we are truly sorry for... onion rings are covered!!  What an experience for your son.  Tri

The dot diet: 3 each protein, starch, dairy, fruit, healthy fat and 6 veggies

B: egg beater sandwich 200

S: 2 clementines and plain Greek yogurt 150

L: veggies, 4 oz. chicken breast, 1/2 cup rice and sf pudding 400

S: apple and plain Greek yogurt  150

Good evening BOTT friends, and congratulations to your son, Tess.  He may not have been on the square, but he was right there where the action was.  How many people do we all know that can actually say that?

My day was very busy, and I'm just eating my dinner at 11pm (remember, I'm a night owl).  Had my mammogram and bone density today, and go to my neurosurgeon tomorrow to see what's going to happen with the work situation.  Will I work as a staff nurse again???  Only the shadow knows.

Came home at 5pm after grocery shopping and worked on a new recipe for my family, and a modified version for myself.  It involved lots of peeling and shredding, and I almost gave up when I couldn't find my food processor blades.  Then I had to brown 14 large pork chops!  It's pork chops with sweet potatoes and apples (had to peel and shred those too).  Needless to say, it was a MAJOR undertaking after running all day since 5:30 am.  I just pulled it out of the oven at 11pm, and have to wait another 30 mins for my modified version to get done.  Haven't tasted it but it smelled heavenly.  We'll enjoy it (I hope) tomorrow evening.

I just threw together a turkey burger and crawled upstairs to my bedroom to check on the day's happenings at BOTT.  Today I ate:

 

B:  Quest protein bar  (had the PB&J Tess....loved it!)

L:  last of the pork chop with onions, peppers, mushrooms and green beans 

S:  large apple

D:  5 oz turkey burger (no bun) with 1 oz shredded cheddar, mustard, ketchup and pickle relish and 1 large jalapeno stuffed olive

 

Off to unwind from my hectic day.  Sweet dreamzzzz everybody.

Thanks Shelia.  My son did say that got to see the white smoke from a distance, so that was pretty cool.  He is at the square today touring and I hope they reopen the S. Chapel that the Cardinals were using to vote in the new Pope.  So glad you like the PB & J.  I probably did not because I am such a fan of the Peanut Butter Supreme.
