Tess, I do a lot of lurking so you do not know me. Please answer a question for me. The Quest bars you mention have 22 grams of sugar. At least, the ones I looked at have that much. Am I right about the sugar and can you handle that much? I can not handle that much.
Just wondering -- do not mean to be nosey.

Hi Ruby
Tess is gone for the weekend, but I think I know the answer to your question. I have never had a Quest bar...maybe someday I will because they must taste great and offer more substantially more nutrition value than the desserts they sell in bakeries. Yes some people dump from them, but she has lost and maintained on them. We are all individuals and we find different ways to lose and maintain. Perhaps if you can't tolerate them there are better bars for you. I know Hala can't eat them. Follow her food records to find out what she eats. You are doing great with your weight loss so whatever you are doing is working wonders for you. Tri

Thanks for the reply. Actually, i have gained 20 pounds in the last year (sick husband, lots of time in hospitals/rehabs, stress, vending machines, no exercise.) I can not get my bottom in lots of my 10/12 pants. I can not seem to lose an ounce. I know a lot of it is the lack of exercise. I walk two miles a day, most days, but I need more.
Have a good Saturday. I am going to try to get myself to gym to sign up for some easy classes (maybe Silver Sneakers.)
Maybe I will try a Quest bar. Most of the bars i try, I hate. i drink a lot of Adkins Advantage and GNC Lean
