Good Morning Botts:
It still is a chilly morning here in Mississippi but the weekend is looking up. We should have temperatures in the mid 60's tomorrow through Sunday. I am so looking forward to this weekend. I will probably post late tonight for tomorrows daily cafe. I will be missing in action for the weekend and will be back on Monday morning. We take my son to the airport really early in the morning and I know I will be in a tailspin. My husband and I will then be going out of town for a little us time. My eats for today are:
Breakfast: Quest Protein Bar-late start-NO COFFEE AGAIN!
Snack: Quest Protein Bar
Lunch: My boss is taking me to lunch so we shall see what is on the menu
Snack: Probably none
Dinner: 6" subway tonight
Snack: Vitatop

Good morning Tess and Botts:
Our snow event is a dud so far! LOL! It's been really windy here and just minimal precipitation. It was really cold last night.
Today my eats will be:
Coffee (2) 12 oz cups with 2 raw sugars pkts each and 2% milk
BREAKFAST: oatmeal w/cinnamon and 1/3 cup of 2% milk and 1/2 small banana
LUNCH: oatmeal w/cinnamon and 1/3 cup of 2% milk and 1/2 small banana
Water and vitamins, calcium
SNACK: Boiled egg
DINNER: Salad greens with protein (cheese, and some type of meat)
LATE NIGHT SNACK: Protein shake

Tess you must be excited, anxious, and in a whirlwind all at the same time. What an exciting trip for your son. Enjoy your couple time while he enjoys Italy.

Dinner something grilled probably fish or lean ground beef with non starchy veggies
It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. The sun is shining but Tess your cold Bear butt has shown up here and brought some howling winds with it. BBBBBRRRRRR. Today's lunchtime walk will definitely be indoors. I'm thiinking that the new vitamin routine and added supplments are working. My energy level has boosted and my general dispostion is much sunnier.
Decaf Iced tea is my best friend. I think I need one of those hydration backpacks full of it so I don't have to wander into the break room as often to fill my cup up. I went trhough a full 1/2 gallon at work yesterday. Today is looking to be the same or possibly a little more.
Commute: Coffee
Breakfast: Oatmeal
snack: Protein Bar
Lunch: Progresso Soup (not sure which flavor I grabbed this morning)
snack: Greek Yogurt & Almonds
Dinner: Crock Pot Chicken & small salad

I'm so tired of the cold, but spring is coming, I know because the daffodils are popping up. It won't be long now I can feel it!

Good evening BOTT friends,
It's late night, and I now have time to post my meals for today. I ordered my Quest bars and can't wait to get them. I am SO behind in the "what's new" area of post WLS eating. I will be 13 years post op next month, and I am just learning about Quest protein bars, and only today did I find out what Vitatops were. I'd been seeing it posted on Tess's eats, and had no idea what it was. Sounds like something I might wanna try.
I got in more food today than I have since I finished the pouch test. It definitely worked for me, as I get full so fast again. I'm loving it, and I will not resort to drinking with meals again, because that was one of my biggest mistakes.
Today I had:
B: 1 egg with 2 tbsp turkey sausage crumbles, and 1 tbsp low fat cheddar
S: protein shake
L: 4 oz burger (no bun) with 1 sl baby swiss cheese, mustard, and 1 tbsp each pickle relish and ketchup
S: 1 med cucumber sliced, with vinegar, S&P
D: Wendy's Berry Almond Chicken salad (460 cals full size w/dressing) ate 1/2 and saving other half for tomorrow
S: protein shake w/1 tbsp peanut butter
