It is always easy for the other person to tell you to get on the stick.  They are not sitting where you are.  You are going to succeed, just give yourself a chance to relearn and recommit to what you want.  No one else can make it so.  Have a great rest of the day.

I'm actually enjoying being swamped at work. I love the challenge. Plus when I'm busy I have no time to obsess over the snacks in the breakroom. I was starving by the time I left work yestersday. No midafternoon snacking was a blessing. My Mom cooked dinner for all of us last night ----homemade ham & vegetable soup. It was wonderful.  And she sent the leftovers home with me for dinner tonight. YES!!!!

So far so good on the fluids and vitamins. Exercise is going to be a 20-30 minute walk on my lunch break.

Home:            Protein Bar

Commute:       Coffee

Breakfast:      1/2 everything bagel with cream cheese

Lunch:           1/2 bagel & small salad

dinner:           Leftover soup

dessert:         Chocolate protein shake w/ almond milk

I need your attitude about work.  I am swamp to the point of being overwhelmed and not knowing just where to begin.  Have a great day, soup sounds great for tonight.

Late for my weekly post.

I am doing OK.  Most days were good to very good eating wise. A friend of mine stayed over the weekend and that was great. Iexcept for some wine - I did very good. I ate what I was suppose to, drank my proteins.  Yesterday was fine until roughly till 2 pm. when my car started smoking while I was on a way back home from dropping my friend at another city ... I was 45 miles from home... I was glad it did not caught fire.  I had to stop by a side on a very busy Hwy, climb over passenger side to get out of a smoking car... That, ladies and gents, was a good thing I had RNY and was skinny enough to do that. I don't think I could move any faster. Getting out on a driver side was not an option if I wanted to live.. (70m speed limit Hwy, lots of trucks..)

lets me just say - I need new tools to deal with immediate stress...  Another friend picked me up and we end up clearing a bottle of wine... that's only 2 glasses each... but post op that is enough to make me drank... And I still had to drive home later.. And I did taht after dinner and more food, more time and some coffee...

This is a second time I smoked this car...and it is either dead -dead - or we will fix what needs to be fixed just to sell it.

I do have a car to drive now.. but I decided to buy  a new business car for me..   I think either new Mazda Cx5 or Sante Fe or Santa fe -turbo.

can you imagine trying to climb out as a Pre-Op? Now that would have been a whole different stress level. I am the kind who can't stand to have mechanical failures with my vehicles. I come completely unhinged. My dad was a Master Mechanic so he always kept my vehicles in top notch shape. But the littlest noise or smoke and I would fall apart.

I hear ya on the 2 glasses of wine. If I can finish the first one without falling asleep then I become the life of the party but 90% of the time I'm snoring. Before surgery drinking had a totally different outcome. I was ALWAYS the life of the party. Now I normally volunteer to be the DD for our functions.
