Good Morning Botts:

 

It is a cold, cold morning here in the south.  I so enjoyed my mexican chicken chili last night and we have some leftovers for lunch today.  My eats for today are:

 

Breakfast:  Coffee & Miralax

Snack:  Quest Cookie dough bar (Yummy)

Lunch:  Mexican chicken chili

Snack:  Quest Brownie Bar

Dinner:  Beef Taco

Snack:  Vitatop

 

Looking forward to a lazy day and a visit from my daughter later in the afternoon.  Have a great day and remember those vits and fluids.

Hey Tess and Botts,

Happy Sunday to all of you. It's cold and light snow going on here. Going to Birthaday party for our leap year baby who is turning 1 or 1/4 however you want to look at it, LOL. He is such a cutie, It'll be fun. Had a wonderful time at the baby shower and got to meet my new great, great niece, who is beautiful of course and has more hair than I do! My eats are kind of crazy this weekend so I'm just gonna do my best to keep the damage to a minimum. And tomorrow my sister is having cake for my brother in law who's birthday is actually Sunday but because of the baby's birthday party decided to celebrate his birthday on Monday. So I'm not weighing myself til Friday!!!

Avoid the scale!!!!  My daughter can be a bad influence on me.  She talked me into making lemon cookies out of cake mix last night and then she brought out the chip bag.  Ugh!!! I sent her home at midnight last night.  I love my daughter, she makes me laugh and forget about weigh ins!

Good morning Botts. I am glad that today is Sunday, a new day and a new week. I am starting new today! Quite frankly I am tired of starting over so I am going to try really hard to stay on trac****il I accomplish my goal. For some reason lately I have been having sugar drops,I had one at 2:30 in the morning last night. That is the worst feeling in the world to me. I will also be walking today for atleast 30 minutes. I hope everyone has a good day.

B: protein shake made with almond milk

L: Protein shake

S: SF jello

D:either a salad w/ chicken breasts or another shake.

Happy Sunday!! Hope everyone has enjoyed their weekend. It amazes me how quickly they fly by. Haven't gotten as much accomplished as I would like. We took the kids bowling last night. I hadn't been in years. Today I feel like I've been run over by a train. My knees ache, My elbow and shoulder are sore. I tore the side of my thumb nail off. All from a simple night of bowling. Good grief I never believed it to be a full contact sport.

I've gotten in my daily meds and the a.m. portion of my vitamins. Struggling to get all of my fluids in that'll be back to normal tomorrow.

Wake Up: 1 regular coffee with 2 Splenda and half and half.
Breakfast: Protein Bar & decaf tea
Lunch: Ham, baked beans & deviled egg
Dinner: Omelet & fruit
Dessert: Chocolate Protein Shake w/almond milk

Not sure if I like the almond milk or not. I've never had it but I had a double coupon and it was on sale.....CHEAP. I figure I can doctor up the taste if I need to.

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

I'm not a big fan of the almond either and only bought it because I got it on sale for $1.99, But I love the almond coconut milk it has a sweeter taste to it. I can only find it at Smith's here which is Kroger. You should give it a try!

I went to make my omelet and realized I had used all of my eggs this morning to make deviled eggs. So I ended up making the protein shake for dinner. I used a scoop of Pure Whey chocolate protein powder, 1 packet of splenda, 2 TBSP of flax seed, a cup of the almond milk and a handful of ice......not too shabby. I'll probably have one for breakfast again in the morning.

I am not big on the Almond milk either nor the coconut milk.  I am just a 1% milk gal.  Sorry about your thumb.  Reminder to self, bowling is a full on contact sport.

It sounds like everyone is having a nice weekend and staying on track as much as possible even with parties and guests.  We are cold up here too but at least the sun is shining.  I think it is supposed to go above freezing on Thursday.  Looking forward to a good week.  Tri
