Pizza seems to be an issue for many of us
I can easily eat 1000 calories of pizza, because I have no restriction or feel any fullness. Even if I did though I probably could eat 500 calories because it is so fat and calorie dense. I have a couple alternatives and I bet many of us do. Tri
1. don't eat any pizza ever again
2. have a small piece when with others and skip the thick crust at the end
3. buy a Lean Cuisine or Weigh****cher individual frozen pizza ocationally
4. make a pizza out of sandwich thins or tortilla, sauce, reduced fat cheese and veggies
5. pick at it.
I am a self professed Pizza picker. My Dad used to love a supreme with everything on them...I do mean everything. So I would pick off the things I liked and eat them that way (I also went through a phase where my food couldn't touch and I ate 1 item a t a time - but I was a kid) Now when my sons or whomever I happen to be out with order a pizza I eat the toppings (proteins but FAT) then I can skip the carb crust. Normally I'll focus on a really good salad so I'm all about the company and not the food.
