Good Morning Botts:

I hope this day finds everybody safe, warm and secure in their homes.  With all the snow in the Northeast and tornados in the South, weather has been pretty harsh.  Our beloved college campus in Hattiesburg, MS took a big hit yesterday afternoon when four buildings were struck by a tornado along with the town of Hattiesburg.  My daughter graduated from USM and my son plans to attend in 2 more years.

My eats for today are:

Breakfast:  Coffee & Miralax

Snack:  Quest Brownie Bar

Lunch:  PB on Toast

Snack:  Quest Brownie Bar

Snack:  Vitatop

Lunch:  Roast Beef in Fajita Wrap

Snack:  Grapes

Exercise:  Up to walking 2.4 miles a day.  I have not missed one day since the 1st of February.  Down 2 lbs. Yay!

Have a great day and remember to take your vits and drink your fluids.

My YMCA bag is packed and sitting on the front seat of my car. Planning on an hour of water aerobics after work.  The weather has been exceptionally CRAZY this winter. I'm so ready for spring. Hopefully the old wives tale is true and the pair of robins I had in my yard yesterday afternoon are an indication that Spring has arrived.

Working on the hydration and vitamins today. (Yes I've gone ahead and taken  my daily meds!!) I realized I'm not really drinking enough on the weekends ---but I stay busier. Somehow I need to find a happy balance.

Commute:       Coffee w/ splenda and french vanilla creamer    (B12)

Breakfast:         Scrambled eggs with cheese and sausage crumbles    (daily meds & multi)

snack:               trail mix  (D3 & calcium)

Lunch:               Turkey sub on whole wheat &  1/2 apple    (fish oil)

snack:              1/2 apple & peanut butter

Dinner:             Pepper Steak & Steamed veggies  (fish oil)

lns:                    OJ & iron supplement

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

Food looks good today.  My husband stays on me on the weekend because when I am going, I do not drink enough and sometimes do not eat much either, but I am moving my body around though. wink

Good morning botts - we arrived home last night at 11 pm from our short vacation in the sun.  We had 8 inches of snow while we were gone.  I ate a lot of chicken and salad on vacation, but haven't gotten on the scale yet.  I probably won't for a couple of days.  I casually talked to a nutritionist on vacation and she recommends people concentrate more on exercise and move 6 times a day.  Things like walk the dog, clean a room, go to the gym, do exercises at home, do laundry and put it away.  She had all kinds of ideas.  I know last spring I washed windows and my arms really felt it. I thought it was worth mentioning to all of you as well.  I will log my food tonight.  Have a great day everyone.   Tri

I think she is correct.  Since I have been back to walking, the scale is moving back down.  Still eating the same foods.  Imagine That.  Glad you have a great "short" vacation in the sun.  I am ready for one too.

WOW I hadn't heard about Hattiesburg.  I have relatives living there.  Must check on them.

I am still sick.  I have a doctor's appt in an hour.  Hope to get some advice.  I must hurry so I'll post food and weight loss when I get back.

Trish must tell you today is the 11th not the 10th.  doesn't matter but I would hate to see you miss Valentine's day on Thursday.

Have a good one

Go to HattiesburgAmerican.com and see some of the pictures they have posted of Hattiesburg.  Sorry about the date, I corrected it.  Thanks.

Hey BOTTS and Tess.

Well, its been a long day and I ate pretty much on plan today outside of that Brownie I had at 10am. No work out today either...was ay work at 7am and worked till 7pm tonight.  Still working on my final paper now due this coming Saturday.

My scale is still moving in the wrong directions...

Soon, I'll be able to pull it all together and get out of my head...and get back on track.

You can do it when you have time to focus on yourself completely.

Hey Tess and Everybody,

Hope you're all doing well and safe. Haven't been posting cause the carb monster has come for an extended visit. I hope I can get rid of him soon, he's a real pain in the arse. Do you have any suggestions?
