I had RNY surgery in June 2007.  I lost weight steadily through the Spring of 2009.  In fact, I went from 364 lbs to 185.  Then I ran into some stressors and began emotional eating and worse yet, drinking alcohol - several glasses of wine each evening.  As of this January I had gained back to 310 lbs.  I quit all wine back in November but continued my poor eating habits.

I got myself back on track and currently weigh 300 lbs.  Coming to the Obesity Help site and  just reading the various posts helps so much.  I intend to keep myself on track.

Welcome to BOTT, where I'm sure you'll find all the support and encouragement you need.  I did :)  You did it once, you can do it again.  Hoping to see you here often.

Welcome Aboard Sam!  We have all been there and are all working to get back where we got to!  You can too!  Try to remember how you ate in the beginning and go from there.  Good luck to you!

Welcome, Sam! This group has been wonderful, supportive, informative, and positive. Helped me tremendously in getting back to goal and below. I've had very little time to post lately, I was posting daily for quite a while, but I make it a point to catch up on reading everyone's journey. So motivational. You can do this!!!! You are not alone
