My alarm did not wake me up this morning in time to walk so I will be doing that this evening. My day feels like it should be over already. Just too, too busy. My eats for today are:
Breakfast: Coffee & Miralax
Snack: Quest Brownie Bar
Lunch: Pure Protein Bar
Snack: Quest Brownie Bar
Snack: Vitatop
Dinner: Chicken Breast with green beans
Snack: Biscotti
Exercise: 2 mile walk on treadmill at gym tonight

I’m new here. Definitely need to get back on track. I gained 16 lbs from October to January. Ate everything in sight. I need to get back to basics, so here I am. Being accountable, exercising and planning starting now!
Today’s Plan
B – Scrambled eggs
S – Peanut butter & ½ apple
L – Turkey patty & cherry tomatoes
S – Peanut butter & ½ apple
D – Meatballs & veggie
S – Quest Protein Bar
Exercise – Recumbent Bike 10 min 3 x day
Water – Goal 96 oz.
Morning vitamins taken.

Can't believe my day is half way over. It's been busy at work today. Overall I feel like I'm having a good day though. Got the vitamins in so far. Working on the water. Exercise is going to be the Wii Fit tonight. I haven't done it in a while so it'll probably kick my butt.
Commute: 1/2 bagel w/ an egg, cheese and canadian bacon (7 a.m.)
snack: peanuts
Lunch: Chef's salad with ham, cheese and french dressing
snack: SF Jello
Dinner: Meatballs w/ small salad
late night: Grapes

I went grocery shopping yesterday and when I got home and really looked at my purchases....I was so incredibly proud of myself. I had shopped the perimeter of the store - fresh fruits and veggies, lean meats, eggs and dairy aisle. I went ahead and prepped a big salad for the rest of the week. Prepped some vegetables for snacking and some others that will be incorporated into meals this week. Then I washed my grapes and divided them into individual servings. Not only was I tickled by the healthy stuff I bought - but knowing that I had gone ahead and prepped everything makes it feel so much more controlled.
All I had to do this morning was grab the bag labeled "work" and off I went....ready to face my day of healthy eating. Today is the first day in nearly a month that I really feel like I'm the one in control of this and not food controlling me. I know I haven't killed the carb monster but I feel like I've tamed him.
Now to make the Exercise demon my *itch. I can do this!!!!!
