Good Sunday Morning Botts:

 

I am on my way to work out and get my walk in but decided to go ahead and post today's eats:

 

Breakfast:  Coffee & Miralax

Second Breakfast:  Protein Shake

Snack:  Quest PB Bar

Lunch:  1/2 Club Sandwich

Snack:  Vitatop

Dinner:  Super Bowl Party - Cheeseburger Sliders & Dip & Chips

Snack:  Rice Krispy Bar

 

Exercise:  2 mile walk on the treadmill

 

Have a safe and blessed day.  Enjoy yourself and any events that you find yourself at tonight.  Don't forget your vits and fluids.

Good morning Tess and Botter's. I still have been doing ok with my eats just haven't started back exercising yet, that will start  today! I went to  a hormone specialist last week and he is going to be doing some blood tests and saliva test to find out why I feel so "out of whack" It will be a few weeks before I know anything, he suspects my adrenal glands. I pray everything turns out ok. My eats for today are:

B: Light n' fit yogurt.

S: protein bar

L: string cheese w/almonds possibly 1/2 a grape fruit

S: sunflower seeds and 1/2 apple w/pb

D: chicken breast w/ cucumbers

S: sf choc pudding.

I also had trouble with my adrenal glands.  I was about 2 years post op.  They diagnosed me with Addison's Disease and put me on a bunch of steroids.  I regained 90 pounds in six weeks.  I pray that everything turns out ok.

For Addisons they put you on a huge dose of steroids. I have had mini steroid treatment for allergic reactions and that cause weight gain.  I'm glad you feel better.  Tri

Exercise: Only one mile on the treadmill.  It's a start though!

Eats:

Breakfast- Kashi Go Lean Cereal and 1 cup of 1% Milk

Lunch: Don't yell.  Taco Bell Doritos Locos Taco Supreme

Dinner: Hormel Turkey Chili with Beans

Snack: Chobani Banana Greek Yogurt

I promise not to yell today.  Especially since I ate three (3) rice krispy bars and two cheeseburger sliders.  We want even talk about the dip, after all, tomorrow is another day.....(Scarlett O'Hara)

Thank you for the reply Staphanie. Why do they treat the adrenal glands with steroids? Did the steroids help you? The Dr. I am seeing likes to treat with natural medicines whatever that turns out to be I don't know. all I do know is that I just want to feel better!

My adrenal glands were not producing enough cortisol, so they put me on steroids.  Yes they saved my life!  I hope the natural medicines work for you because they most likely will not have weight gain as a side effect.  I completely understand just wanting to feel better.

Evening BOTTS.

Well, it been a quiet day for today.  I did nothing at all today.

My eats:

PreBreakfast: Coffee, Coffee

Breakfast: 1 large egg, 2 turkey breakfast sausage link, a whole grain waffle plain

Snack/lunch: Bowl of Maple & Brown Sugar Oatmeal

Snack: Atkins Protein Bar and Coffee

Dinner: Slow Roast Cajun Pork 3 oz and 1/4 of Cooked White Rice with Peas

Snack: Dannon Fit Yogurt
