Good Morning Botts:

Well it is cold again in the south like it is suppose to be but I sure do like these little windows of spring that we keep seeing.  My eats for today are:

Breakfast:  Coffee & Miralax

Snack:  Quest Protein Bar

Lunch:  Quest Protein Bar

Snack:  Vitatop

Dinner:  1/2 steak and cheese sub

Snack:  Green Grapes

Exercise:  I have really failed this week on walking.  I got to start getting up earlier in the morning but my bed is so warm that I hate to leave it.

I hope each of you have a great Thursday.  Remember those vits and fluids too.

Brrrrr...It's not just cold here but it's WINDY!! That dang carb monster was on my back all day yesterday. I felt like I'd fought with Ali all day long. It seems to be a little better this morning but I've consciously shook things up (literally) this morning.

commute:    Dreamsicle Protein shake  (vanilla protein, oj, & skim lactaid) ...7 a.m.

Breakfast:     the rest of my protein shake     9:30

snack:          1/2 a click protein shake          11:30

Lunch:          Hamburger with lettuce, tomato, grilled onions & cheese  (no bun)   1:30

snack:          1/2 a click protein shake            4

Dinner:         Split tea soup                           6:30 - 7 ish

The dreamsicle shake is extremely easy to add metamucil or benefiber too if you need a little help with that. Doesn't change the flavor or texture at all. Just took the vitamins. Got the first of many water glasses filled and on the corner of my desk. Forgot my dag on pedometer this morning. I'll still try and add some extra walks around the office today. I did bring my walking shoes and socks to try and get in some extra time at lunch walking inside the building.

Have a great day!!!!

You and I are in the same stall.  I know what will break mine but I haven't got it started yet.  I need to walk on the treadmill for 40 minutes a day. I know eating what I am eating and walking, I will drop the rest of my weight but I just can't seem to find the want too yet.  Have you tried incorporating walking into your eating plan yet?

Hi Tess,

I walk part way to work after parking my car.  I just started this about 1 1/2 weeks ago. I probably should walk much more.

Thank you.

My husband informed me that he was tired of us getting up late and in a grumpy mood.  He said that he is getting us up at 5:30 AM and we are going to the gym in the morning.  Wish me luck.

Morning Tess and Botts,

It's cold here too, snowy and windy but yesterday it was in the 60's. I've gotten off track on my exercise too, Tess. Between all the snow last week and my knee hurting from the fall, really haven't done much. I do plan to start back up on Monday though. My eats for the day:

B: egg in the basket, 1/2 a banana

L: leftover ziti with meat sauce

D: homemeade chicken quessadilla

Snacks: 1 oz.ham, so far anyways

Have a good day all!

It is so hard for me to get started this time exercising.  I don't know if it is weather related, energy related or just plain I don't want to, but something gotta give soon.

Why is it so hard to get back on the exercise bandwagon? I know how much better I feel when I do - physically and mentally. Plus I'm one who hates to waste money and I look at that automatic bank deduction for my YMCA membership and think----WOW.

So can we all start kicking each other's backsides next week over the exercise routine? Tess get MuscleMan ready to travel. He's got some visiting to do.
