Good Morning Botts:
It is raining in Mississippi and the high today is suppose to be 71 degrees. But I do understand that by Friday we will be back in the low 30's with a chance of snow. I just love our weather. It is a gamble everyday. My eats for today are:
Breakfast: Coffee & Miralax
Snack: Quest Brownie Bar
Lunch: 1/2 Turkey Sandwich
Snack: Quest Brownie Bar
Snack: Vitatop
Dinner: Something with Chicken
Snack: SF ice cream
Exercise: not sure yet.
Have a great start to the week and remember to take your vitamins and drink your fluids. It will be February at the end of week. Time is flying, don't let it get away from you.
Good Morning!!! It's raining here too. Still on the cool side (40ish) but by mid-week we're supposed to hit the 70 mark and then go back down toward freezing. Gotta love winter on the coast. We still have snow left from Friday's event.....that's unheard of in this area.
I had every intention of getting on-line this weekend and posting but life was traumatic and well being on-line was not something that I gave a second thought to. My youngest son is an avid hunter and had gone duck hunting with friends Saturday. He paddled out in the kayak to pick up a bird they had shot and managed to get flipped overboard. By the grace and provision of God he was rescued by a passing boat after spending several minutes in the frigid water. He was in shock and moderately hypothermic with a core body temp in the 80's when the ambulance picked him up. Thankfully he is alive and well with no physical problems. Mentally he's still in shock at just how close he came to dying. I consider myself the most Blessed mother on the face of the earth.
Today I'm already working on my water. I'm kicking myself for walking out of the house without my gym bag so I guess I'll fire up the Wii tonight and have a little fun with that.
Commute: Coffee with splenda and half and half
Breakfast: Oatmeal with cinnamon & diced apple
Lunch: Vegetable soup with multi-grain crackers
snack: Cheese stick & almonds
Dinner: Leftover pork roast & salad
(little better on the carbs today)

Weekly update - I am not a happy BOTTer..
It must be the weather. This morning I was up 2 lbs... really? I worked very hard on the weekend, and ate very clean, no alcohol, no carbs... ... so WTF? 2 lbs? really...
I know there is no way I could gain 2 lbs of fat... but the 2 lbs put me 1 lb over the highest I saw in last few months... that is bad...

This may be a repost----- The scales moved this morning. Down a half pound since last week. Yeah. Nothing earth shattering but a loss nonetheless.
As someone who hates needles...I'm almost looking forward to blood work in the morning. Having these labs drawn puts me closer to some much needed answers.
