Hi Hala:

Sorry about the flu.  When I am sick I do not count calories, proteins or fats.  What ever I think will stay down then that is what I eat.  I hope you get on the healthy train soon.

Good Morning

I am new here.  I just found you and thankfully so.  I had my surgery in 2006.  I never made it to goal.  I missed by about 15-20 pounds but was grateful for the 100 pounds I lost.  since then I have been up and down but always able to get back where I was.  I have had a very emotional year and now have more to loose than ever to get back to my original loss.  I have made and appointment with a new doctor for this afternoon and will be seeking help to get back on track.  I will rely on him to tell me how many calories I need to eat and how to approach this new challenge. I will post tomorrow my food choices etc once I have met with him.

Thanks for being here

Linda

I was one of those people with the day off but I paid it forward. I went and exercise! I went in the afternoon and did 45 minutes of Intense Aqua Kickboxing, 45 minutes of swimming laps at moderate pace and then 45 minutes in the sauna. I went back late tonight and completed 60 minutes of Aqua Zumba. I really enjoyed it and regular exercise is a part of my plan despite the fact that the scale isn't moving.

Anyone have any suggestions? I am 16 months out and closing at nearly 150 lb weight loss. However, the scale hasn't moved in a couple of months. I eat 600-800 calories a day, 50-60 net grams of carbs and 30-45 grams of fat per day. I tried to add more calories but find it impossible to eat and stay within the carbs & fat. I drink 10-12 cups of water average per day and a minimum of 80 grams protein a day but some days 100 or more grams of protein.

Any help is greatly appreciated :o).

You have done a great job.  I would probably add a protein shake or two to up my calories without upping my carbs too much.  You can still continue to lose even after the 18 month "sweet" period.  Glad to have you here on the board.  Good Luck to you.

Thank you and you were so right! It is definitely paying off and my stall for the past few months is finally over! I am more determined now than ever because I want to see the conclusion!
