Morning Botts:

 

I had a terrible night.  I could not sleep, it was like I was wired or something.  I saw 3:30 am before I finally drifted off to sleep and now I am up at 6:30 am.  It is going to be a rough day.  I need to add an extra protein bar to last night's menu and a handful of bugle chips.  BAD!  My eats for today are:

 

Breakfast:  Coffee & Miralax

Snack:  Brownie Quest Bar

Lunch:  Brownie Quest Bar

Snack:  Vitatop

Dinner:  Shredded BBQ Chicken on a Fajita w/cheese

Snack:  Vitatop

 

I hope everybody has a wonderful Friday.  TGIF.  I am looking forward to the weekend.

Morning Tess and Botts,

I was up late too Tess, was it a full moon last night! Also I ended up eating a banana and some chips. It must be true that getting in your sleep helps you lose weight, at least I can't snack then. Also ended up having 1 1/2 cups of raviolis w/meat sauce for dinner last night and according to MFP like 800 calories. I was so mad, probly why I ate the chips, that'll teach me. Oh well, it's a learning process. :D

My eats today are

B-egg in the basket & half lite and fit blueberry greek yogurt
S-protein pudding shake
L-tuna salad on a slce of toast
S-3 crackers with 2 oz ham and and turkey and 1 oz cheese
D-3 oz chicken with parsnips and rice
S-1/2 a cupcake

Hi Edie:

 

I usually go to bed no later than 10:00 PM and last night I took my shower late and it threw me behind schedule.  After I miss my window of opportunity for sleep, it is like I got a second wind and I am wide awake.  The harder I try to go to sleep the worst it becomes to sleep.  I knew I was keeping my husband awake so I finally retired to the sofa in the family room and watched "why women commit murder" on the IDC channel.  Think someone is trying to get a message to me?  

You are right though about getting to sleep because you sure can't eat.  I do get the munchies when I am fighting sleep.  Let both hope for a better day today.

Good Morning Botts: Here I am again still struggling to get my head on straight. My choices haven't been bad Iv'e just been snacking alot! Why is it that I feel like everything around me has to be perfect and in control in order to get my eating in control? Here goes for today. Tess I hope you sleep better tonight, try exercising a little before bed if you can't sleep.

L: chicken w/ veggies

S: sf jello

D: Chicken w/ veggies

S: sf fudgesicle

I would have ran a 5K last night if I thought it would have made me sleep....I made try that next time.

Good morning and Happy Friday Tess & Botts:

Sorry that you ladies couldn't sleep well last night.  I'm so glad it's Friday. I couldn't

figure out what day it was this morning, I actually thought it was Saturday,

but I quickly came to the conclusion I had to get up. yes Drats!

Anyway, I'm really glad it's Friday, and I'm going to enjoy the long holiday weekend (MLK)! crying

I weighed in at 175.8 today!! Yea!!

Eats today:

(You all know the drill) LOL! 

PRE-BREAKFAST:            Coffee, coffee, coffee 

WATER flavored with Hawaiin punch flavor stick

Vitamins and calcium in between meals

BREAKFAST:  Oatmeal w/1 Splenda, cinnamon, and 1/4 cup of 2% milk (yummy and hot)  It's FREEZING HERE IN CT TODAY!indecision

                          2 TBSP of peanut butter

WATER flavored with Hawaiin punch flavor stick

LUNCH: Honey ham slices (4 oz. NO CHEESE SLICES TODAY )

                 Baby carrots - raw about 7 each

Snack: Coffee w/1 pkt of raw sugar and 2% milk

              and that dreaded pear that I keep trying to eat.

DINNER: I REALLY DON'T KNOW YET!

I slept great last night...now the night before was an entirely different story. I HATE nights like that. I really would have loved to snuggle up in the covers and stayed in bed all day today. But NO!! Haven't won the lottery and the bills don't pay themselves so it was off to work I went. Completely forgot to pick up my lunch off the counter or my protein shake that was right beside it. All because I decided to change out my scarf and gloves...wen't down the hall and never thought about the kitchen again. WTH???? I left my coffee home too. So I've joined into the office mentality for junk food today. I'm okay with that. I'm going to use it to my advantage too - no eating between meals --none.

Commute:   Nothing

Office:           Coffee w/ splenda and half&half

Breakfast:    Bacon, egg & cheese on a yeast roll

Lunch:          Chicken Breast (skin & breading removed) & Pasta salad

Dinner:         Chili & Tossed Salad

Dessert:       Strawberries w/ splenda

Thankfully I have remembered to take my vitamins and I'm getting my water in.

OH OH OH,,,,I forgot to say how thankful I am that the Sun is shining. No fog. No drizzle. No dreary skies....pure T sunshine!!!!!
