Morning Botts:

 

It is a rainy and wet, wet Sunday here in Mississippi.  We have so much rain that I may have to wear my highwater jeans and boots.  My eats and exercise today are:

 

Breakfast:  S.F. French Vanilla Coffee & Miralax

Snack:  Brownie Quest Bar

Lunch:  Tuna Salad

Snack:  Vitatop

Dinner:  Chili

Snack:  1/2 cup Vanilla Ice Cream

Exercise:  Probably not today.

Hi Tess! Sorry I haven't posted, Iv'e been in AZ with my daughter. I will be posting tomorrow. Amazingly I did not gain any weight! I did make mostly healthy choices and also walked ALOT! Now I am going to start a detox on Monday.....

Hi Tess and Botts,

I did terrible all weekend, doing a decarb on Monday. 3-4 shakes a day plus my regular dinner. Got to get a handle on this constant snacking! Needles to say
I'm not confessing my eats for today!

Weekends inside are hard for me.  As long as I am going, I do fine, but get me in front of the TV and the munchie monsters want to come out.  I try to drink a lot of SF beverages and sometimes I have to have an extra protein bar.  Good lunch Monday on the decarb.

Same here.  I find  I am not doing so well with my eats over the weekend.  I am not eatting or I am snacking.  What's crazy is I do cook for the week but I don't eat anything that I cook.

So, I do need to get a handle on this is today a new day.

Convenience foods are my weakness too.  It is easy to reach and grab.  Someone once said that if we had to cook everything we ate, we would not snack at all.  I figure I would just bake a lot of snacks...enlightened

I like that idea!  However, I cleaned out my kitchen and got rid of all the baking stuff...so if I want something I have to buy it and I have to look at the calorie count and how much sugar it contains.  My weakness is Tortilla Chips...I actually made a taco salad with refried beans and the works.  Needless to say I wasn't that happy this morning.
