Happy Hump Day Botters:

It is going to be a wet day here in Mississippi today.  I go see my plastic surgeon today to discuss getting my backside lifted.  I got my tummy tuck done in May.  I decided to get my lower body lift done in two separate surgeries.  It has been one week back on track with everyone.  I have lost 2 lbs. this week.  Makes my new weight at 157 lbs.  Slow and steady will win the race.  My eats and cardio for today are:

Breakfast:  S.F. French Vanilla Coffee & Miralax

Snack:  Quest Brownie Bar

Lunch:  Not sure yet

Snack:  Chocolate Vitatop

Dinner:  Steak Taco

Snack:  S.F. Pudding

Have a great day, take your vitamins and drink plenty of fluids.

Met with my new Primary care doc last night and I was semi-impressed. Wanted labs drawn and set up a meeting for me with a nutritionist. Wants me to come back in a month and we'll re-evaluate. I like that approach. He does want me to rest my knee and hamstring for a bit longer. Simple stretches, push ups and crunches were his suggestions for now.

Commute:         Coffee with splenda & ff french vanilla creamer

Breakfast :          Dreamsicle smoothie  (lactose free milk, oj & vanilla creamer)

Lunch:                 Chef's salad with light dressing

snack:                  coffee with splenda & ff half and half (around 2 p.m.)   & greek yogurt w/ almonds (around 3:30)

Dinner:                Mexican chicken wrap

Lots of decaf un-sweet tea throughout the day ****ep a glass on my desk). Vitamins are already taken care of.

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

Congratulations on finding a doctor that you like.  I have been lucky so far with my choice of doctor.  I have labs drawn yearly and we re-evaluate each year.  In the beginning it was every six months but so far out I can recognize signals of my body if something is not quite right.  I hope your knee(s) get up to par soon and you will be back doing what you want to do.

I had trouble posting my eats yesterday, so I had to delete my message. Will try again....   BTW....how does this menu look?

B: RTD choc shake, 1oz beef jerky

S: SF jello and SF choc pudding

L: RTD choc shake, 5.3oz Oikos Greek Yogurt

D: Probably tuna (with .5Tb mayo), and/or 1/2 cup cottage cheese and/or 1oz beef jerky

The only significant carbs I eat are in the yogurt.  Keeping my calories around 800 and protein is well over 80g per day. Always get all my fluids.

Looks awesome!  If you can keep this up, you should be dropping some serious lbs.  How are you feeling?  Are you finding yourself hungry with stomach growling or just head hungry?  Can you tell the difference now?

I"m feeling pretty good. No low BS while I was carb-detoxing.   I think I can keep going at this rate for a couple months at least.

You would THINK I'd be dropping pounds. I started this on 1/1 and in 9 days, I have only lost MAYBE 2 pounds. Kinda disappointed. Just have to keep going, I guess...

Today my coworker brought in some huge muffins to share with us. I fought those muffins and WON! Head hunger didn't get me down today! lol

Don't be disappointed, 2 lbs. is really great.  This is not like before when we dropped 1 lb. everyday, I shoot to drop 4 lbs. a month, anything over that and I consider that a bonus.  You are doing really good so keep it up, it will pay off in the end.
