Good Morning Botts:

 

It is a beautiful, chilly Monday morning here today.  I am running behind this morning, just could not leave my warm bed.  My eats for today are:

 

Breakfast:  S.F. Vanilla Coffee with Miralax

Snack:  Brownie Quest Bar

Lunch:  Brownie Quest Bar

Snack:  Chocolate Vitatop

Dinner:  Grill Chicken

Snack:  Chocolate Vitatop

 

Exercise:  Walking

 

Have a great start to the week, take your vitamins and drink your fluids.

Good Morning Tess and BOTTers. New week - new challenges.

I have my BS under control, but high protein diet is causing some issues with my BM.  Or there is something wrong in my intestines (adhesions?) When I eat dense foods - I end up often in pain. Significant pain.  Last time I had that checked - CT scan showed that I had been severely constipated - and most likely it was gas pains.   I have been trying to eat more fiber - and add more magnesium and stool softener - but it feels like my food goes to some point inside and then stops... like there is narrowing or something like that.  I ma happy when my belly gurgles. It doe snot happen very often.  At this point I am scared to eat. And when I do - I try to eat as little as possible. or take a long time to eat. That helps some.

Considering that - I decided t do some shakes in the in the morning and afternoon, maybe with some added yogurt with proteins , and reserve eating for the evening. So if I end up in pain - I can deal with that. I do plan to do some type of intestinal cleansing and hope if I can get things moving .

I do suspect that eating like that will make me lose weight, or pants size, since in addition to that I also restarted yoga to help my lower back and sciatica pain.

Today (and the rest of the week):
Coffee with coconut milk
protein shake
protein shake
yogurt with proteins
protein shake
Jambalaya or frittata.

LNS: whipped cream, nuts

activities: plan to do yoga.

Hi Hala:

 

I hope you find the solution to your problem.  Been there and done that too.  There was an old joke once about the head saying it was in control of the body only the rectum chose to disagree.  In the end, we know who was boss.  If you can't go, everything shuts down.  Take care and let us know how things are going for you.

This strange "pains" have been going on for a while now, 6+ months? first I thought it was stress, then I got iron infusions - so I blamed the pain on that.... but when I got in pain on vacation... I gave up and call the doc. I do suspect adhesions...and bowels twisting or just narrowing... or low motility due to ?????  I hate when my pain happens when I am with my BF (weekends) because that makes him worried and prevent us from doing anything (when I end up in pain - I can't move much, or breathe and end up on a bed with my knees to my chest. ) The pain does not last long - maybe 30 min -  if I can take meds but usually the spasms leaves my belly tender and me really tired (most likely from the pain and the meds ?? )

I do hope is something simple and once I can do detailed cleanse - I would be able to function better.

You know your body.  Don't let your intestines get so twisted that you wait to late to get them fixed.  After your cleanse, if pain is still there, I would go see your doctor and get some tests run to see if it is bowel constriction or adhesions.  Let me know how you are feeling later.

unfortunatly ... if the pain doe snot get resolved on its own - I may need surgery.   I ha dthat happened before. 2 times - I had hernia - simmilar pain and yet multiple CTscans or blood work show "everything is fine"  ... only surgery in both cases found and fixed hernia and found twisted intestains. 

I know that if the pain persist in the next 6 months - I may have to make decision to have the surgery.   If nothing else - to clean and remove some adhesions (that I am sure I have). But as I heard from others - surgery to remove adhesions only lasts for a while since the body builds it up again... and again...   Swing chickens - say prayers - do voodo - or any other things you do -... (LOL) and lets hope this goes away... I hope maybe yoga - with all the stretching and pulling - will make it better?  I do plan to join yoga challenge - 45 sessions in 30 days..... lol...  that is 3-4 times of yoga a week.  I know i can do that... and that may help my insides and my back...

Good Morning Botts:

I am here again today and WILL NOT give up. I am going to really focus on protein this week I know I can do this,  have done it before... My starting weight was 278 pounds and my lowest was 140, I know it can be done and I can conquer 10 pounds.... Thanks for all the support.

Hi Tess and Botts,

Hala I hope you find out what's wrong and feel better soon.
Today's eats are better than yesterday for sure.

B-2 eggs, 1/2 orange
L-tuna salad on toast w slice of cheese, 4 deviled egg 1/2s
1/2 apple and baby carrots

Snack-2 deviled egg halves

D-pork chops with veggies and tiny bit of baked potato

Snack- protein coffee or shake

plus coffees w/ffh&h and water

Also I dd20 minutes on exercise bike
