Ok it is 2 weeks...  I lost, went on vacation and gained and now am bot.  I decided the 1800 calories was too much food (unless I ate junk).  I am sticking to 1500 calories most days.  This means a very slow weight loss for me, but I am back to 212 lbs. this morning.  I am going to see a GI doctor that does the "overstitch procedure" at the end of the month.  They try to make a smaller pouch and stoma during an EGD.  Not as scary for me as more surgery.  Maybe he can help me...maybe not.  I have been making a "to do" list in the morning to keep my mind off of food as the psychologist suggested.  It does seem to help me and I get a lot more done at any rate.  This time of the year is very busy.  I hope everyone is well and that we all continue to do the best we can to be healthier as we enjoy the holidays.  Tri harder

I hope the Rose would work for you. Most people who had that reported not very good outcome. But - who knows.

Glad you are doing OK. keep pushing.... one day at a time.

Overstitch is different than the Rose procedure.  They put a little sewing machine into your stomach.  The Rose uses staples.  All these endoscopic procedures are mixed results and I know that.  Maybe I really need a full blown revision.  One day at a time is really important for me.  Without any limitations (what I eat or how much I eat) some days are worse than awful.  I can't keep any junk in the house, but then why would I?  Eating out can be a disaster for me because it is so very hard to be strong and order healthy.  I can easily eat 1800 calories at a meal.  Some states publish calories on their menus and it is amazing the calories in not too large plates of food.  I find the support of this forum very, very helpful.  I feel as though many have undiagnosed mechanical failures.  I am so grateful not to read "just because you can eat it doesn't mean you should eat it".  If that worked none of us would have had surgery to begin with...right?  Encouraging each other to eat the healthiest possible is really helpful.  Tri
