Hello everyone. I am so busy, and I have less and less time to post.

But I will try to update once a week... who is with me?

I went on a week long vacation to Colorado and loved every minute of it.  Was walking, hiking, doing things. Ate a lot and drank a lot of wine - I can't eat a lot unless i help my belly with the wine.

My weekly status:
weight: stable at the moment (I think).
Exercise: the weather is nice and the BF and I we started walking on weekends. We also go dancing once a week- swing dance  and that is great exercise.
Diet: Gluten free, starches free, low carb diet low sugar diet , no fruits etc. really works for me. I still get hungry when I don't eat on time but I no longer have the low blood sugars. Now I can limit not only the foods but also calories, can exercise without worrying about my BS.  It is huge issue for me. No longer I get into a panic when I get hungry - in the past - I would get hungry and if I did not eat - or didn't eat enough - my BS would drop.  No longer the issue. I do miss fruits and my wraps, but having stable BS is worth the sacrifice. Now I can even have a glass of wine with dinner (meat and veggies) and be OK.  I use nuts a seeds as snacks.

I will be traveling a lot in the next 1-2 months so I am very happy that I finally found out what works for me.

Let me know how you guys are doing: what is working for you and what is not working...

Good morning!

Oh I so understand!  With work and my classes starting again I am having a hard time posting as well.  A once a week up date I maybe able to could commit to on the weekends.

This week has been hard and disappointing the scales are moving in the wrong direction and I really feel it around my mid section.  Since, the vertigo episode two months ago I can't seem to get it together.  I wakeup in the morning unstable and dizzy/rocky and the feeling doesn't really stop until I am at work about 2 hours later and it may began again in the late afternoon...so I haven't been working out much at all and I am feeling the effects.  I am back up to 210 pounds which has now pushed my goal to re-lose 35 pounds.  I do have a Neuro appointment in November and I hope we can find the casue or a solution.

Start over: I did figure out that I am stress eatting and intaking a lot of sugar (candy, muffins, etc.)  Today, I will start a liquid cleans I can seem to stop myself from eatting the sugar.  I cleaned my apartment out once again of all the sugar, the sweets, etc.  I have to regain control.

Diet as of today will be:  Protein Smoothie in the morning, 2 apples as a snack, Protein Soup for lunch, a Protein Shake as a snack, Protein Smoothie for dinner. Keeping my cal under 1300 but increase my protein to 160 for the next two days.

Exercise plan for the weekend and next week:  Once, I am feeling stable I will do Wii Active Tennis for 30 minutes or so (Saturday & Sunday).  During the week I will need to force myself from my desk at lunch time and take a walk around my area if its not raining (45 minutes) around midtown (34th street area).

I'll check again next Saturday morning!  Have a good day every one!

Well, I am new here but thought what better place to get myself together than with my other OH folks?

As far as life is concerned, complete chaos right now.  Being a mom, selling a house, moving, doing a master's program, and working full time (high stress).

I've been coming on OH at least a few times a week, trying every day, so that I can stay on track.

Weight: lost 4 lbs in last two weeks.

Exercise: Been swimming at the gym 4 times this week.

Diet: Maintaining the 5 days per week protein consumption and letting myself slack on weekends.  Making sure I take all my vitamins is imperative as I can see.  Starting something I never did before, no drinks with meals for 30 minutes, its very productive.

I'm up about 30lb from my lowest post-surgical weight and I need to stay committed to getting it off and keeping it off.  I guess that is what I am here for.  Nice to know there are others out there doing this with me.  Cathartic.
