Good Afternoon,

Hey Tess.......I have been off for a while but back now better than ever.  Earlier in the year I was doing okay but fell back in to bad habits again .....well you know the rest of the story.

But now I am back.....I have joined a local gym that has an 8 week weight loss plan that includes exercise and a trainer.  I am not following their meal plans - I am following the meal plans the dr. set for me but really enjoying the exercise classes and working with a trainer.  They have a  fitness program I can join once I complete the 8 weeks (I have 2 more weeks to go).  I have lost (relost) 13.25 lb. and a total of 34.75 inches.  They focus more on the inches than the weight.

I have also signed up to do a 5k walk at the end of the month.  I am so excited and feel so good.  Over, over, and over, the dr. tells me this is a life-style change and I after weight gain and feeling crappy, it has finally sunk in.

The Unjury powders and Quest bars are life savers.  Thanks for turning me on to the quest bars.........brownies are my favorite.  That is my "treat" at the end of the day.

It looks like some have dropped off the discussion group.  Maybe like me they will return.

Have a great evening!  Fitness Class tonight before heading home from work :)  Woo Hoo!

Have a blessed day!

 Hi Janet:

So glad to hear that you are doing well now and back on track.  I hope to see you online updating us too.  That is awesome on the inches and pounds.  By the way, could you tell that Brownies are my favorite bar too?  Have a great day.

Hey Tess and BOTTS!

OMG OMG OMG!  I was so out of control today!  Running late, because I forgot to set the alarm clock and I soooooo messed myself up today.

I didn't have my smoothie this morning which would have been 300 cal and 52 protein.  However, I had a 2 egg on a Bagel with coffee.  Within a hour and a half I was eatting a package of Raspberry Shortbread cookies out of the vending machines and a banana.  I also had my lunch which was brown rice with a serving of stuffed paneer sheese dish (Indian) and a small side salad.  Within an hours a Balance Protein Bar because I was still hurgry!  REALLY.  Than a Bag of Chips once again from the vending machine, around 5pm I walked out of the off crossed the street to Dunkin Donut and purchase and ate a Coffee Roll.  Calorie count for the day no way!!! I am sure I pushed over 2000!!!!! and I am up a pound today!

Melt downs of melt downs.  So, Friday evening I will start a 2 day detox and Saturday morning I will start the first 2 days of the 5 day pouch test.  And I will not carry cash or changes so I don't hit the vending machine.  And I will make my Smoothie tonight and put it in the frezeer So, I can grab and go!!

Out of control today, but will regain control tomorrow!

Thanks...working hard to get back in control. It's not as easy as it was 12 years ago when I had the surgery.
