Tuesday, August 21st, Cardio & Cafe

 Good Morning Botters:

It is a wonderful cool start to my day here in Mississippi.  I am looking forward to getting out and about today.  I see that my "candy bars" took a hit yesterday but it works for me.  I do not take breaks or lunch at work and am constantly on the go so anytime I can get 20 grams of proteins quickly, I will take it.  It makes looking forward to dinner that much more pleasureable for me.  I do this daily, five days a week, and change up on the weekend some.  Each person must do/find what works for them.  I have discovered that too much choice leads to weight gain for me so I limit my choices.  That being said, my eats and cardio for today are:

Prebreakfast:  Coffee & Miralax
Breakfast:  Oatmeal
Snack:  Quest Apple Pie Bar
Lunch:  Pure Chocolate Protein Bar
Snack:  Quest Coconut Cashew Bar
Snack:  Vitatop
Dinner:  Steak Tac
Snack:  Probably one more small slice of Caramel Pie

Exercise:  Walking around my neighborhood for 1 hour.

Have a beautiful day and don't forget those vits and fluids.

Good morning Tess
Frustration caught up with me yesterday.  I really believed that a "regular diet" would allow me to reach my goal.  I am joining all of you on the protein candy bars.  I'll see if it helps.  I have tried everything else.  Maybe just for 3 snacks and protein and veggies for meals.  I am lost, struggling and determined.  It has worked for many others.... Sometimes it is best to go with what works.

breakfast: eggwhite omelet 150 calories
snack: pure protein candy bar 200 cals
lunch: salad and fat free tuna salad 150 calories
snack: pure protein candy bar 200 calories
dinner: chicken stir fry and a salad 300 calories
snack pure protein candy bar 200 calories

 I know it is frustrating.  Sometimes we have to do something drastic just to get the body's attention that we mean business.  I would like to lose another ten pounds but I know I will have to be drastic with my calories again and I kinda like where I am at eating right now.  It is something that I am going to pursue more in the Fall.  Keep your spirits up, something will eventually click for you.
