 Good Morning Botters:

I had a wonderful time in Fishkill, New York and a busy, fast pace time in New York City.  My family and I got to see Wicked on Broadway and did all the usual site seeing and I took a 45 minute hike through Central Park.  My butt was dragging when I can home but a great time was had by all.  The wedding that we attended was awesome.  I will say that New Yorkers do know how to party!!!  My eats for today are:

Prebreakfast:  Coffee & Miralax
Breakfast:  Protein Shake
Snack:  Quest Protein Bar
Lunch:  Steak Taco
Snack:  Quest Protein Bar
Snack:  Vitatop
Dinner: Chili
Snack:  NSA Ice cream Bar

I will probably take a walk around the neighborhood tonight.  By the way, during my six day trip, I did not gain any weight.  Woo Hoo!!!  We ate really well, but we burnt it off by walking everywhere.  Have a great day and remember those vits and fluids.

Good morning!

Tess, glad you had a great time!

Just wanted to check in. Im out of town in a training class. I am not doing well. I started out great staying low carb, but Im way off track now. Its so difficult when you cant cook and pretty much have to eat out at every meal. I had been eating so many salads and my body had enough of the cleansing I suppose.

I get to come home tomorrow, so I really need to get back tomorrow and this weekend. I made a deal with myself to not only attend my August bootcamp, but to use the rest of my gym visits as well to get my running in.

hope you all continue to stay BOT. Im so full of guilt right now.

Don't feel guilty.  I promise you that we ate really well as in pizza, pasta, steak and a lot of salad and turkey clubs.  We just moved all the time.  One day, we walked 18,000 steps and the next day 25,000 steps (that was Central Park day).  If it had not been for all the walking, I would have shown a gain when I got back.  Also, all the rich food did a number on my system and I stayed in the bathroom alot (TMI).  As soon as you get back to your regular routine, it will come back off and you will feel yourself again.  Have fun and enjoy yourself.  Life is too short not too!

Thanks happend. I know. Been there - and I can agree - we can only eat so many salads.
Once you get home - you can start fresh.

Wow... Sounds great... I have been to NY a couple of times and loved it. 
Glad to see you back. 

We been just plugging along... life as normal...

Today is a third day after my iron and I am feeling the low after the steroids high yesterday.  But that will pass too.  This week I decided to take it easy on the pouch and do very light foods only. So far so good. At least that is under control. My carafate is handy and I take that to offset the acid ... so all is good.
As I mentioned - I will lose some weight - but that is a good side effect, and at the end I hope my iron will be good again. . 

Eats today:
coffee + coconut milk
coffee proteins shake
protein shake w greens
veggies soup with egg drops
yogurt with proteins and veggies
yet another soup with eggs...
LNS: cheese and nuts.

exercise -: probably not today... I most likely will crash...
