Back On Track Together
Wednesday, 8/1, Cafe & Cardio
In addition to it being the middle of the week, it is the 1st day of a new month...These kind of events pre-surgery would have been a reason to "start" a new diet or make a new plan...Post op everyday is supposed to be on plan, of course, it isn't because I'm human, we're human, and sometimes I fall off the wagon...I'm meandering off the topic, but my point is, I'm working on being on track today, one day at a time, want to keep it ( being BOT) that way
Breakfast : 3/4 of a cheese biscuit, heavy on the cheese
Snack : protein coffee
Lunch : fresh sausage, a chicken strip, 3 spoons of mac-n-cheese with protein pasta & 2
spoons of mashed potatoes (little carb heavy hear, low on choices in my empty fridg)
Dinner : Protein shake ( from the gym when I'm done)
Cardio : ZUMBA
Have a great day everyone!
Alesia : start 249 / surgeon's goal 138 / current 142
One of iron infusion side efects is GERD and indigestion at the same time. And belly cramps. The body dumps some if the iron into small intestains... by liver (liver filters the blood) and that with extra biles from the liver irritates the guts. Add the kidneys... and bladder irritation. So... the body is trying to get rid off any that can't deal with.
I always get a headache when I had indegestion... so it is fun. But really not too bad. 2 down 2 more to go. Surviving next 3 weeks will be fun.
But - on a good note - I will lose weight. I already can fit into some of my 6's jeans... so I don't complain. Food wise - I need to take it easy. Next few days I can either be hungry on liquids or in pain and with indigestion and most likely headache if I eat solids. Decisions, decisions. Last year I had the iron I do not remember being that misearable - but then I was half death due to low iron and I was drinking a lot of wine during that time so no wonder I don't remeber.
Today eats:
Coffee w almond milk
Protein shake made with real almond butter and greens
Protein shake (same as above)
Veggies soup with egg drops
Veggies soup as above
Yogurt with proteins and flax
Veggies soup w egg
Protein pudding... maybe
Lots of water with Vitamin C. Green tea and ginger tea.

I wish I had VSG. But what's done it's done. I will do the best with what I have.
But - on a positive note - size 6-8 is not bad... at least I got "normal" size..Weight - still Obese based on BMI but we know the BMI means not much, so I will not worry about that.
