Back On Track Together
I'm new here
Thank you Cathy and Kathy for welcoming me into the group. I am looking forward to getting back on track, so here's a little introduction about myself:
My name is Amanda, 31 years old. I had RNY gastric bypass 6 years ago. I lost over 117 lbs and have gained back around 25 lbs. I've had some health issues since my surgery such as IBS, and just recently as yesterday, acute gastritis. (long story, spent 5 hours in the ER!) I truly believe if I can get my diet and stress under control, I can get back on track. It's difficult to obtain help and inspiration from family members or friends that haven't had WLS. My best friend had WLS almost 7 years ago but she's never fell off the wagon, so it's a little hard to relate to her (wish I had at least HALF the discipline she has!)
My goals are - if I could take off 10 lbs, and get to that comfortable zone, I think I'd feel better. My clothes from my lowest post-op weight are a little too tight, and I can't afford to buy (and refuse to) buy bigger sizes anymore. I think I can gain back more energy if I got back on track. So that's why I am here, for motivation and inspiration. Its easier when you know other people are on the same boat :)

I am weighing 184 now. I had a baby 9/11/11, 10 months ago. I was 221 the day I gave birth and just recently got into the 180's. My dream is 135, but at 158, I wore a size 6 so that wasn't too bad!
WELCOME!!
Best of luck with the bar!
