Friday, July 13th, Cardio & Cafe
Let's me start by saying that I hope all of you have a wonderful Friday today. I started mine with a walk in the misty rain that became a drizzle and drove me back home after 1 mile. :( But, on the bright side, I got to eat my breakfast at home with my husband instead of at work. My eats for today are:
Prebreakfast: Coffee & Miralax
Breakfast: Oatmeal
Snack: Quest Brownie Bar
Lunch: Roast Beef Pita 1/2
Snack: Quest Brownie Bar
Snack: Protein Shake
Dinner: Grilled Chicken
Snack: Vita Top
I hope each of you have a great day and a wonderful weekend too. Don't forget your vits and fluids for today.
My belly is upset again. I did not eat much yesterday and I wanted a good night sleep so at the end of the day I ate one of the extend bar and 2 cheese sticks.. I woke up with a headache, gassy and upset belly.. But my BS was OK...lol... no wonder - indigestion - can't digest the stuff - or slowly digest - that will keep the BS stable. But it is not worth for me. Now - I need to figure out what to do with the bars... another $15 is wasted.
Eats today will be easy though,,,
coffee + coconut milk
more of the same
protein shake (egg white powder)
yogurt with proteins
same as above, maybe some peach in it....
same as above...
dinner: will try chicken veggies soup... hope that will work.

After our youngest was down for the night, hubby put our still-wide-awake 3-three-year-old in our bed with him and I took off for a late evening walk with our dog. Perfect time of night. Felt SO good to walk again! I'll plan to do this again tonight. Eating plan for today sounds just like yesterday:
B - protein coffee
S - tomatoes, swiss cheese
L - chicken Caesar salad
S - protein pudding
D - taco salad (just the chicken, veggies, sauce)
S - Zone Perfect protein bar
B - protein bar
s - banana
L - 6" ham & cheese of flat bread from subway
S - carrots & peanut butter
D - undecided
So I suspect I have snacked a bit too much this week (night out for coffee/dessert with a friend, fresh zuchinni bread muffins at home, etc.) going to try to limit myself a bit more that usual this weekend at home and perhaps get in some extra walks.
Hala, I don't car for the extends bars either, they
bother me too. Should have bought just one to
try, oh well live and learn.
Went to a birthday party and had no pasta, rolls
or cake. I've never been this strong before
with my food choices. It's a good feeling!
My eats for today are:
b-2 eggs, cream cheese, sf syrup and butter
l-grilled bacon chicken sandwich from McD without bun
s-Atkins protein shake
d-Anitpasta salad with ranch,ox roast, meatball &
meat and cheese and olives from pasta salad
3 coffees w/cream and 1 diet coke
But I am glad to hear that you were able to avoid eating the carbs at birthday party. When I do low carb - I can say no to carbs, desserts and stuff like that.
