 Good Morning Botts:

Do you feel better after you have had your cardio for today?  I always do.  I dread getting up at 5:30 AM each morning but I am so glad I did a hour later.  Needless to say, I got my 2.5 mile walk in this morning just before the rain came and my eats for today are:

Prebreakfast:  Coffee & Miralax
Breakfast:  Oatmeal
Snack:  Brownie Quest Bar
Lunch:  1/2 Sandwich
Snack:  Brownie Quest Bar
Snack:  Protein Shake
Dinner:  Roast Beef Pita
Snack:  Vitatop

Have a great day and don't forget your vits and fluids.  Our temps for today are around 84 degrees for the high.  If it doesn't rain all day, I am going to enjoy the cooler weather.

Good Morning Tess and botters!

Im so in vacation mode. Heading to the beach as soon as I get home from work today. Ive also got the cravings from hell cause Im trying to get my mind ready for a trial diet change. Trying not to use the word diet, but Im at a loss for something better. I can feel the carb cravings coming on. My brain is saying..'You better eat that now, cause you wont be eating it for a long while!' DAMN BRAIN!

Eats for today:

Coffee w/ cream
1/2 bagel w/ cream cheese. Yes, I did
Pure Protein bar
Greek yogurt w/ banana and granola
Iced coffee

Thats all I have planned. Not sure whats for dinner as Im sure we'll stop on the way. Good news is that we will be grocery shopping and have already planned our meals out. I wont be perfect and Im not going to pretend like I will be. At least most of my meals will be at home to minimize any damage.

Hope you all have a fantastic weekend and I'll be back on Tuesday with a full report!

Good morning Tess. and Botts... bright and early...
My belly id doing so much better... and the rains are here to stay for a while.  My cat decided that I need to get up before the alarm - at 5;30... She needed loving and petting and scratching and overall - wanted me to chase here around a house.... Then she went back to sleep...
I wish I could too...
eats today:
coffee+ coconut milk
protein shake
yogurt with proteins
I hope by lunch time my belly will be good - so may try to eat "real food" - meat and some veggies...
if not  - then I will continue very light diet - of yogurt with proteins or protein shakes... Maybe my body needs some break from eating real food...

beside that - plan to clean the house, and if I still the energy - walk on a treadmill... if not - o well. there is next week...

I am glad your tummy feels better today.  I hope you can get something solid to chew on and it does not give you trouble.  It has rain here all week and looks like it will continue on through the weekend.  We needed the rain and the cooler temps but it would be nice to have a little sunshine too.

Good Morning to All

Well, did pretty good yesterday at staying focused on my goal to go low/lower carb...Ended up adding a serving of sweet-n-crunch peanuts at the end of the night & 2 chocolate covered cashews on a moonlight pass thru the refrigerator...Ended the day with modifications from original plan at 907 cals/85 protein/ 41 carbs...

The moonlight pass was caused by middle of the night distress...This never (and I really mean never, like 1-2 times a year) wake up in the middle of the night for any reason...But last night I woke up in a sweat that just kept building in waves, got out of bed to see if standing in the main house would be cooler, ended up standing in front of my open frig trying to cool off   and thats when the chocolate cashews got me...Don't know if it was a pre-menopause thing or if my body was bottoming out from the sweet-n-crunchy nuts I ate about 30 minutes before going to bed, either way was not in the norm for me and a little disconcerting...

Breakfast  :  protein coffee
Snack  :  mini broccoli, ham & cheese quiche with a 2" circle of crust in the bottom
Lunch  : chicken manwich meat with melty cheese on top & a side salad or some diced avocado
Snack  :  iced protein coffee
Dinner  :  unknown, thinking it will be a couple slices of deli turkey with a smear of pepper jelly
Cardio  : in the a.m. today - 1.5 miles with my son & the puppies

And yes, Tess, cardio always make me feel better and more energized, at least for a little while after I'm done...

The middle of the night waking up in sweats - remind me of my RH - in the middle of the night - or at 3- or 4 am.
The chocolate cashew was something that you probably needed any way ...

Sunny and hot but not humid -- wi**** would rain.  Trying to follow --scratch that--I WILL follow my low carb eating plan without caving into carb cravings (specifically, Dove chocolate miniatures--cursed things).

B - protein coffee
S - protein shake or pudding, if needed
L - chicken Caesar salad
S - tomato, slice of swiss cheese
D - chicken braut with sauerkraut
S - Zone perfect protein bar

I MUST get 30-40 pounds off so I can get my hernia repaired and my tummy tuck
