Swelling is gone...

Hala, Tess and other BOTTS,

Thank you for the concern on the swelling, I just wanted to update because all of these experiences help each other figure out problems that may be encountered during this life with WLS. 

Hala, you mentioned protein and BINGO - at least I finally got some relief.  I drank 3 Premier protein shakes a day last week (30 grams a pop for a total of 90!)  I also ate some fantastic low carb, high protein hot casseroles for my lunch and dinner and the swelling is gone.

So glad that you found the answer to your swelling.  I did the same thing yesterday.  I have been swelling for several days and did mostly protein yesterday with a shake last night and got up this morning with the swelling gone.  Hala you are so smart!
