Snack: Ice cream bar
Have a great Thursday and stay cool if possible. Drink plenty of fluids and don't forget you vits.
It is going to be another very hot day here. Yesterday I baked many protein cookies - so I am set for snacks for the next 2 weeks. It is much easier to buy some ... but still can't find any ready to eat products that has all what I want and none of the things I don't.
The only problem with the cookies is that they are full of fiber and if I eat too many- like yesterday - I end up with pain...(fiber=gas+ fullness= belly pain).
I have been eating LNS - just before I go to bed (or in bed) and added some Extend snacks to the mix - so far - 3 very good night sleep - uninterrupted - full 7+ hrs of sleep.
Eats today:
coffee+ coconut milk
egg/ egg white frittata
pork + broccoli casserole
yogurt with proteins and fruits
protein cookies
some meat and veggies...
soup (dense)
LNS: cheese + extend snack.

The snacks:
Extend. - http://www.extendbar.com/.
I bought the drizzles- and the main problem for me is not eat them as "treat"... lol... but to keep them as LNS. they do taste v. good.
I order the 10 for 10 - and waiting for them, but they are everywhere - in diabetic section isle.
How It Works |
Dr. Francine Kaufman, M.D., a world-renowned endocrinologist and former President of the American Diabetes Association, developed a unique formula using a combination of proteins, fats and complex carbohydrates to help control blood sugar for up to 9 hours. The key ingredient is uncooked corn starch, a low-glycemic carbohydrate that metabolizes slowly and helps to control blood sugar for longer than anything else on the market.

Well, yesterday started off well. Bootcamp was moved to 9am for anyone who showed up. I went. Yay. Ate well until I made my husband's birthday 'cake'. Monkey bread with apples, raisins and pecans. It was crazy good. Really crazy good. Damn pull apart pieces, I must have walked by it 50 times and pulled a piece off. Surprised I didnt dump or go into RH coma, but I didnt. Oh well. Today is a new day. My trainer is offering a two day special $5 per class up to 10 classes, so Im going to buy a couple. Love that she isnt in it for the money!
Eats for today:
Arnold double protein bread w/ skippy natural
Apple
Pure Protein bar and Banana
Yogurt w/ granola
Not sure whats for dinner
Getting in with the trainer tonight :)
the human eye I'll eat it!
My sister was going send me home w/cookies and
8 cupcakes from my younger sister's wedding and
I said NO are you crazy!!! I just need 2 cupcakes
for my neice who's staying with me. My neice ended
up going to her cousin's instead, so guess who
ate those 2 cupcakes?
At least it wasn't 8 cupcakes and a dozen cookies,
I just can't have it around, at least when I'm
alone with it, even if I put it away, eventually
in a moment of weakness, it starts calling my
name!
