Back On Track Together
Day 1, checking in...tracking and vitamins
Yesterday's pie chart:
Pink - carbs: 164
Yellow - protein: 95
Green - fat: 28
Total cals - 1297
So I clearly have a carb problem. But almost all of that was from fruit.
(I am a monkey in my heart of hearts, and would happily sit in a tree eating mangoes all day if cir****tances permitted.)
Nonetheless... that's a LOT of carbs. And I'd like to shave about 100 cals off that total to try to make the scale start moving.
I've ordered my vitamins from Amozon, and I'm taking my iron now - that's two days in a row!
Thanks for your support!
Great progress.
But - maybe it is time to see your doc and run the tests?
We all have financial issue and as long as you are paying - or trying to pay - they will understand.
Please get the labs checked. That is important.

Ugh.
You're right.
I just called and left a voicemail message asking my pcp to please give me another referral slip for the blood work. I need to take care of this, if for no other reason than my own sense of responsibility.
Plus... of course I'm curious. I know my BP has dropped down to levels usually found only among the comatose, like 90/50, but what about the rest? Cholesterol? Iron? B12? Glucose?
At least I'll know where I stand, and that's saying something.
Thanks for the push. :-)
