Back On Track Together
Tip for Techno-Geeks
Or, as I like to say, Intellectual Bad-Asses! If you have a smartphone, and what geek doesn't, there is an app called Endomondo, which is free and can really help you track your workouts. It works with GPS, so if you put your phone in your pocket, for walkers like me, or on your armband for runners, it will keep track of your route, mileage, pace, calories burned (after you enter your age, height, weight, etc.). It's very cool. Of course, like everything nowadays, it is pre-set to share all your info on Facebook, Twitter, etc., but you can shut that all off. I did. For my eyes only. I just need to know. I don't need to share -- well, except that the app is out there, and it's a good one! Now, get out there and MOVE IT!

I created my account from my computer instead of my phone, using my email address instead of Facebook, as I know Facebook broadcasts anything and everything. But, even if you used Facebook to log in, I think you can go to settings and then to share and then set everything so that it's for only you. Yes - it's in settings, and then privacy! Have fun!

Thanks.
Apps like that - once upgraded - may reset to "share all" - watch for that...
I use My tracks - to see how far I walk when i am on a trail. and how fast. I do not think it counts calories or really tracks your workouts. I will check the one you suggested.
