Back On Track Together
Thursday, June 15 Cardio & Cafe
Tess, I hope you were able to get your drain removed yesterday. Crossing my fingers you did!
I have been sliding off track lately. I post, and Im not really following thru. BUT, what really gets me is...I fight the fight, track my food, eat 1200 calories a day and workout. Scale doesnt move. I slack with my food, continue working out and guess what? Scale stays the same. How in the world does that make any sense? I mean, hey, Im happy Im not gaining and I dont expect it to NOT catch up with me, but whats the friggin point?
Anyway, I'll continue to post and try to stay accountable so the scale doesnt slip UP.
Coffee w/ cream
Kashi Go Lean Crunch and Almond milk
Not sure whats for lunch, something from the cafeteria. Maybe salad.
Arnold double protein bread w/ Skippy Natural before gym
Grilled wings tonight (last night was grilled sausage)
Gym again tonight. Im so sore! hope I can move later.
Mary, I feel the same way. I eat all protein and
I stay the same, I add carbs the same. I exercise
some but should do more & I know that but my knees
are giving me problems. I need to get a stationary
bike. But still...
Anyways here's my eats:
breakfast-banana & peanut butter
lunch-small calzone(nephew's school fundraiser, I know...)
Dinner-chef salad
Snacks-cheese
Have a good day All
I did get my drain out yesterday. Yay!!! What I did not expect was that my doctor decided to clean up all the remaining scabs on my incisions. He removed them all with the tweezers. Can you said OUCH! I never felt the drain being removed at all after that. But, my incisions are skinny and light pink and look really good. I really like my belly button. I will try to post some pictures this weekend when my hubby is at home to take them. I look really flat in the morning time but poochy in the afternoon from swelling but it is really not too bad. Doctor saids I am doing great and he does not need to see me again until August unless a problem comes up. So that my story and I sticking to it. My eats for today are:
Prebreakfast: Coffee & Miralax
Breakfast: Quest Cinnamon Roll Bar
Snack: Cheese Stick
Lunch: Soup
Snack: Jello SF Pudding Cup
Snack: Protein Shake
Dinner: Chicken Quesadilla
Snack: Vitatop
I plan on walking around the neighborhood tonight. Hope everybody has a great day!
Mary & Edie: I know, it can be so extremely frustrating. Try to keep plugging away with your healthy eating and exercise. The scale may not show it but your body will appreciate it! I've thought about doing the simple genetic test to find out the type of diet (low carb, low fat or combo) and exercise I need to do. I researched it, then my sister did it and when she follows what they recommended per her genetic testing, she loses.
Tess: Yeah on the drain!!!
I finished Day 3 of the 5 Day Pouch Test. Carb craving is definitely decreasing but I can't say that I feel any more tightness in my pouch. But I never really have so no loss there.
