Back On Track Together
Monday June 4th Cafe and Cardio
During the weekend my BF and I went on a nice 8 mile hike. I ate well and not too much. Cooked some great food, went to see a movie and just chilled out.
The worst part was Sunday night... My cat is a hunter and she killed and brought a frog and ate the legs of the frog.... crunching... By the time I noticed - she was finishing it... I cleaned the rest... after that - there was not "late evening" snacking for me... Today is a rain day and she will stay in the house.
my eats:
coffee + almond milk
protein cookies
meatloaf w/ mushroom sauce
salad and pork loin
nuts and seeds as a snack or yogurt w/ proteins
may also have some beef with veggies if I need another meal.
Exercise: not much...if any...

My daughter is graduating on Thursday (Yay) and we are taking her to dinner. Tight budget this week between her party and dinner...will have to eat what is in the house. Going to be interesting food wise.
Today's eats:
XL Coffee w/ cream
Pure protein bar
Hotdog and orange
banana and cheese stick
not sure whats for dinner yet
Bootcamp tonight.
Some of them she brings in "for later"... lol.. And catches them later and eats them.. That is one part I do not like about cat doors and in-out cat... But she is so happy when she brings home "the catch" so proud,,, many days - I just clean the "left-overs"...
At one time she was a stray and she learned to survived... Smart little bugger... She is small - most likely she was "lost" as a baby and had to fend for herself.. But she is a fighter... At home - as sweet as she can be... loving and cuddly..

I woke up to thunder storms this morning. I think it rained much of the night. My diet this last week has been up in calories and protein for healing purposes mostly high protein foods with a few "ritz crackers" ugh carbs! But over all not too bad. I made my first outing to Sam's Club on Saturday and lunch at McAllisters. Afterwards I took a two hour nap when I got home. Yesterday, I went to Walmart and came home and took a three hour nap. Walmart was definitely worst than Sam's but at least I got out in the world finally. Still dealing with drain issues and it looks like I will have this drain for at least another week. I think I would feel so much better when this is finally removed from my body. Incisions are healing great. I have only dropped two lbs. down to 152 but I have lost about 1 1/2" in my hips/stomach area. I can only wear my sweats right now but am looking forward to getting back into my regular clothes. I hope y'all have a great day.
Tess, good to see you smiling face.. Glad you are recovering. I do remember that time when any trip out of the house meant a long nap once I got home. Once the drains are out - you should be feeling so much better.

I
gave up wine 3 weeks ago - not a drop - I used to have a glass of wine with dinner - 2-3 times a week or more if I was home and friends brought bottle of wine -
I gave up the wine - and my typical migranes due to the weather changes are not bothering me. I used to have them weekly - with any big air pressure change.
