Morning Botts:
I am off to surgery in about 1/2 hour. My starting time is 9:00 AM but I got to be at the hospital at 6:30 AM. I hope each of you have a great day today and if it is not to much trouble, please say a prayer for me today too. I am not posting any eats today, I don't believe I will be having any unless it is broth tonight. Take care and I will post when I am able.

Good Luck today!!! Hope everything goes well. Been thinking about you. Hope you are able to post soon. Wishing you good painkillers and a speedy recovery!
Im still feeling blah. I dont want to bore everyone with the details! Yet LOL
I do have one glimmer though. Weather is beautiful so my new 'do is cooperating. Been rainy and my hair rebels in the humidity. So while I may physically feel like crapola, at least Im feeling prett today.
Eats:
XL coffee w/ cream
Fruit salad and Quest bar
Grilled chicken and garden salad
Quest bar
Naked chicken parm
Trainer tonight.
I have to say I am grateful for my trainer. She has MS and Lymes so she has been great dealing with me hitting this wall. I can honestly say the only thing getting me to the gym is knowing she is there waiting for me. Otherwise, I'd be laid out on the couch.

I have been thinking about you and the procedure since morning. Please be well.. saying some good prayers...
The day is rather gloomy here but not too bad. My cat lately wants to be out only every other day. That' fine with me. She stays home - she will not get into trouble. too much anyway.
I have a bad habit of watch late TV and again I fell asleep on a sofa with TV blasting, full lights on. Woke up at 4 and went to bed..even 2 hrs on the bed is good.
I am learning more and more about RH and hypoglycemia body sugar response. On one hand I am glad that I am getting grasp with that - when and how my body gets low BS or why I am getting it and how to prevent that. On the other hand - ignorance is a bliss. If you do not know - and your blood sugar drops because something you did or didn't do - you just feel sorry for yourself. But if you know why - and you know what you did that caused that - there is added guilt.
I realized that low carb diet - may result in higher incident of RH. Once all the glycogen - stored sugar is used (a few days to few weeks low carb diet and exercise) - the body needs to convert protein and fats into sugar. And if we do something that prevents that (like drinking alcohol with a low carb meal) or engage in strenuous activity - the protein to sugar conversion is not very effective and not very fast. If we do that - the body has no chance to maintain stable sugar and we may crash.
On the other hand - drinking alcohol (even 1 glass) and eating carbs may result in weight gain. Even when a person follows low calorie diet.
Eats today: (low carb)
coffee with coconut milk
protein shake
pork roast, cucumber
yogurt with proteins + flax and blueberries
meatloaf with veggies
more pork roast
