Congrats Tess!! I'll be thinking about you and sending good vibes your way. Im sure everything will be fantastic!

So, I have really been soul searching and have finally come to the realization that after not losing any further weight for the past year...which is NOT due to me not trying my hardest...that Im going to try to accept the weight that I am and officially put myself into 'maintenance' mode. I have not been any smaller than this as an adult. Im in the upper 220's. I THINK I saw the scale say 225 once and that being the lowest number ever recorded. Im ready to accept this and just take into consideration that this is obviously where my body is happy. I did tell the nut that as far as my eating/food goes, I feel I am at a place that I can comfortably maintain. It felt VERY liberating to say those words. Never on any 'diet' in the past have I ever felt...ok, yep...I can do this forever.

HOWEVER, now that Ive come to terms with that...I think what my brain heard me say was something more along the lines of "Hey!! Diet over, time to eat whatever you want!! Whoo hoo, uh huh...time to EEeeatttt!!!!" Ugh. Thats not what I meant. Im fighting the head hunger now and hoping it will balance out shortly.

I am truly grateful that I dump and have ocassional RH to keep me on track.

Eats for today:

Woke up hungry and had Slice of Arnold double protein bread w/ Skippy Natural
Coffee w/ cream
Picking at a Quest bar
Not sure whats for lunch yet. I didnt come prepared today
Grilled (dried herb) chicken wings and melon

Great. The day is near... hugs...

Great weather here today and it is going to be like that for at least a few days.
I made meatloaf last night and baked my pork loin - so I know I have enough meat on hand to follow good diet today and the rest of the week.

eating:
coffee+ coconut milk
pork loin roast (I had to portion it and to cut it so I ate some lol)
coffee ,,, more coffee with proteins..
veggies and meatloaf (v. low carbs - I use salsa and flax meal - and seeds ) - so good. and relatively healthy.
pork loin and veggies... or I may even skip the veggies.. lol.

somewhere there I may try to eat some quest bar, cheese, etc.

Feel good moment: I received a random act of kindness:
This morning I stopped at a costumer service place to exchange my toll passes, and a lady complemented my face skin. I do try to take care of my skin, so that was so nice of her to say so. It was one of those real moments that someone tell you that you are pretty - just because you are pretty. There was nothing for her to gain, no more business from me, nor would she cared. One random act of kindness.

Tess, I'm so excited for you!!!  Please be sure to have your vitamins portioned out for you.  I had to make a baggie for each day of two weeks because I was in Mexico.  It's so easy to space out on vitamins when you're feeling a little drugged.  Have all of your protein shake necessities ready on the counter whether it's a blender ball or blender etc.  Tubs of protein, boxes of Quest. You won't be picking anything up.  Have things that you use daily sitting on the counter.

Wherever you will be spending your time, have a table there. Get a small basket or bowl with your remote control, glasses, big covered water glass, vitamins, book/kindle, laptop, cellphone charger plugged in etc. Anything that you like to have close.  Keep it in something so that things won't fall on the floor.  If you need, get an extension cord today. I had to purchase one when I got to mexico because my chargers wouldn't reach the bed.

Cotton, very soft cotton tank tops or tshirts.  The binding garments can really dig into you.  Having something soft between your skin and your binder will be the best thing ever.

If you will be doing your own laundry, pick up some Purex Detergent strips so that you can just drop one in without having to lift a big bottle.  You want everything light and easy.

I am so excited!!  If you want my personal email, please send me a message and I'll give it to you, because they go right to my iphone.  I had two weeks of round the clock care from a friend and my surgeon but I know that it can be a little scarey going home and wondering what the heck is going on.

You are going to do great!  I can't wait till you get your first look at your newly improved body!
