Good Morning Botts:

I am going to have my upper GI test done again this morning.  Please wish me luck that everything goes as plan today.  My eats and cardio today are:

Nothing this morning-Test is at 11:00 AM

I hope to have a snack around 2:00 PM
Dinner:  Steak Taco
Snack:  Brownie Quest Bar
Snack:  Shake

I hope everybody has a great day and don't forget those vits and fluids.

TESS, Good luck today, hope everything goes smoothly!!

I was out yesterday. Had to drive out to the Nut for my official lab results. I knew my iron and D were low since I got an Rx in the mail from the doc, but my ferritin level is 5! Nut is going to talk to the doc about getting me an IV infusion. Until I hear back, I ordered iron chews from BA on express delivery. Nut asked me how I was able to get out of bed every day, I said its difficult at times! So, hopefully this will help me feel better.

Had a great Mothers Day. Sat had a day of beauty. Tanned, haircut and mani/pedi. Went out to dinner and on the way home stopped and got some flowers for the yard. I got a gift card for a massage and a bottle of wine too :)

Eats for today:

Coffee w/ cream
Quest brownie bar
Thinking Subway today
Apple
1/2 stuffed pepper for dinner (turkey sausage and couscous)

I have an inservice today. No students, I need this break.

B- Protein coffee & Vita top
s- protein shake w/ fruit
l-turkey & cheese rollup & quest bar
d- not sure yet, but a spinach salad is highly likely with some kind of meat.
s- 1/2 cup carb smart Ice cream
Trying to get all my water and vits in asap.
Have a good one.

 Pre surgery 300 lbs, lowest after 175 lbs, re-gain highest 249 lbs, current 211 lbs, goal 170 lbs!

Good Day, I'm here to check in...

Breakfast :  protein coffee
Snack  : croissant & 2 breakfast sausages
Lunch  :  deli chicken & provolone roll-ups and maybe a side salad from Wendys
Dinner :  meatloaf &  steamfresh asparagus blend (maybe a 1/4 cup of steamed rice if I'm   
                hungry for it)
Cardio  :  1 1/2 mile power walk with my son & the puppies (man I wish I had their unlimited 
                  energy , they bounce off the walls with puppy enthusiasm)

Alesia : start 249 / surgeon's goal 138 / current 142

How was the test? hope everything is fine...

nice sunny day in SC... hot ... we may get some storms.. but that's OK.

I woke up at 4 am really hungry... ate wrap with some meat and cheese... one hr later - went back to sleep another hour... o well..

eats today:
4 am wrap with pork and cheese
coffee with coconut milk
quest bar
grilled chicken with veggies
quest bar
chicken with veggies: maybe lettuce wrap
homemade burger, salad (maybe)

not really sure - maybe yogurt with proteins...

Do not want to eat real food again. A chore... o well..

Well everything went okay with test today.  I signed in at 10:30 AM and walked out of office at 2:35 PM.  I now remember what I did not like about the upper GI.  It takes so darn long.  The chalk has not gotten anybody in twenty years and since it was for the small bowel, I had to have an xray every 15 minutes over a 90 minute period.  At least it is over, I believe everything is going to work out for my surgery on Thursday.  Been in contact with doctors office and will know tomorrow afternoon whether I will start surgery at 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM which is scheduled now.  I got to drink and eat a lot today to try and push this barium out of my system before surgery.  All I need is a back up to a back up if you know what I mean. Chat with you later.
